Wolverine and the Wolves
Chapter one
Augusta's pov:
I grew up with a unique gift. It was almost like from the movie, X-men. I had wolverines knives that come from my knuckles. They retract, like cats claws. I also had four metallic canines that came out with them. My eyes were silver to, odd I know. I looked like as if I wasn't in control. I was, I'm not like a werewolf, I don't 'wolf out'.
I've been looking for a pack to take me in for a while now. I never met my parents and my werewolf brother was captured by rouges. I never found him. It was hard without him, I still hoped he'd turn up one day.
I needed a pack to protect me, to accept me for what I am. I tried several packs and was thrown out or was told to never return. It was because they thought I couldn't be trusted, rumors about creatures like me spread like a wild fire. The pack that excepted me, if that ever happened, would have a few new enemy's.
I currently traveled alone, I was in America. I left the UK yesterday. America was a new start, if not then I would go to Canada.
So I was in Texas. It's was a big place, very adequate for packs. I stayed in a motel for the night and made sure I had everything.
Extra cloths, tooth brush, shades (my eye color tended to freak people out), hair brush, hair ties, money, iPod, and medicine.
The reason I had medication was so that the metal in my body didn't rust, odd I know but it also helps with the pain. When they retract they pearce through my skin, my bones move, it's painful. The meds take the edge off.
I turned my music on shuffle and soon feel asleep.

I woke up, charged my iPod while eating then took off. I walked through town trying to spot wolves. I threw shades on, there were more people out than I liked. I used my wolverine sight all I saw was humans and a few vamps, disturbing.
Finally I came upon a beta, he was alone in a cafe. Let's do this.
"Hey, mind if I sit?" I asked.
He shook his head obviously surprised. I sat down.
"Your British?" He said.
"All the way." I smiled.
"So, what pack do you belong to?" I asked.
He studied me. Wolves knew I wasn't human and not a wolf. They had no idea what I was.
"What makes you think I'm going to tell you?" He asked.
"I wanna join a pack, is there any way I can meet your Alpha?" I asked.
"Is there any way you could tell me what you are first?" He asked.
"No." I said.
"Look you seem like a nice, um what ever you are but I can't but bring any potential danger to the pact. So I need to know." He said.
"Not here." I said.
He nodded. We left the cafe and ended up outside the pack boarder.
"I'm kinda like wolverine, in X-men, just with a little extra." I said.
"The proof." He said.
I took my shades off, they were proof enough.
"The Alpha would like to meet with you at once." He said.
