Augusta's pov:

It took three days to get back to Darien's home. We had to avoid the guys and drag J with us. He still wasn't fully recovered. He still called me bubble and nothing he said made sense. I hope he was normal again soon because it's starting to get annoying.

"The pack should be here any day now. When they come back we can start to really figure out what's going on." I said.

"Why aren't you figuring it out with my dad? These are his lands." Darien said.

"Your dad wanted to start without the pack. I want to wait, they all have different skills that can help figure out this vampire problem." I said.

"Aren't they all werewolves though?" Darien asked.

"Werewolves are friends not food." J said pointing at us.

"No they aren't-"

"Yes they are!" J said.

"I'm not talking to you." I said.

"Don't be angry bubble." J said.

"Some are werewolves, some human, a witch, and a vampire." I said.

"Wait a vampire?" Darien said.

"Yeah, he's good though." I said.

"He's going to kill his own kind?" Darien asked.

"If he has to, which he does." I said.

"Well that should be interesting." Darien said.

I shrugged.

Then J started eating leaves.

"Don't eat that." I said.

"But bubble!" J said.

"J, there dead leaves." I said.

"Dead?" He asked.

"Yes, dead." I said.

"EW!" J shrieked spitting the leaves out.

"What's wrong with him?" Darien asked.

"I have know idea." I said.

"I know!" J said.

"What is it then?" I asked.

"What is what?" J asked, confused.

"Nothing." I sighed.

"Nothing what!" J said.

"I really hope he gets better soon." I said.

"Me to." Darien said as J ate a branch this time.

.*.*.*.*.

The next day Darien and I woke up early to get food and water. Darien went to the river and I shifted into my wolverine and hunted.

I had grown more attached to her now that we could talk.

'So how did you know Naomi was lying?' I asked while stalking a raccoon.

'Her energy waves.' She said.

'You can read energy waves?' I said surprised.

'Yes, and so will you in time. For now you should get that raccoon though.' She said.

She was right it was moving away. I quickly pounced on it and killed it before brining it back to share.

J was up and wasn't eating leaves or saying bubble so maybe he was better.

I shifted back and threw cloths on before going over to him.

"So your feeling better?" I asked.
