Wolverine and the Wolves: Chapter 34

Augusta's pov:

The rest of the night we all visited and everyone got cough up on the vampire situation.

Lucy and Darien hung out a lot, as expected, and Brent and Jules became Ryan's new favorite people. Logan was hanging out with the guys and trying to explain that J and him where together now. The guys were shocked but got used to it.

J seemed a hundred percent now that Logan was here with him, thank god.

Everyone seemed happy to be back together but that wasn't the plan. This wasn't supposed to be a happy reunion. We should be killing vampires.

Darien agreed with me. He wanted these vampires out more then anyone, maybe even more then Maran. He wanted Alena back home and he wanted everything to go back to normal.

So after everyone rested for a bit we all gathered around the bodies and we explained what we know about the blood type.

Almost instantly Kyle tensed and seemed to know something.

"What is it Kyle?" I asked.

"I know these vampires." He said.

"You do?" Ryan asked.

Kyle nodded.

"There a pack of vampires, which is unusual. We are almost always on our own or just with our mates. There's twelve of them or more. I've run into them before." Kyle said.

"Why are they here?" Darien asked.

"I'm not sure why there here, it's very rare for this blood type to come to Africa. They only feed the most pure blood." Kyle said.

"So they only feed on this type of blood then?" Lucy asked.

"No. They usually feed off of human blood that hasn't been introduced to drugs. So anyone really. When any vampire eats this rare blood they become cursed. They have to keep drinking this blood to stay alive. If they don't feed every day they will die." Kyle said.

"They what's the point of drinking this kind of blood?" Demetrius asked.

"Over time you will become faster, stronger and eventually immortal as long as you drink every day for a few years. So they could take over the whole world eventually, especially with there numbers." Kyle said.

"Oh my gosh." Lucy said.

"So we have some work to do." Armando said.

"Lot of work." I said.

"So we should eat now, you know energy and all." Armando said.

"Is he still having issues?" I asked.

"Yes, they've gotten worse." Ryan said.

"Armando! You need to stop eating so much, it's not healthy." I said.

"But I love food." He said.

"Yeah but there are more important things to think about right now." I said.

He huffed but didn't disagree.

"We've seen the bodies everywhere but not one vampire though." Darien said.

"That because they get stronger every time they drink, this can move so fast and soundlessly it's almost impossible to spot them. But I can sense there trails, they've been all over here." Kyle said.

"There's no way we can catch them then." I said.

"We're going to have to wait for Wanda, she'll have something we can use." Jena said.
