Wolverine and the Wolves: Chapter 42

Lucifer's pov:

The second I smelt them coming I knew it was good news. It wasn't there presence that got me excited, it was the smell they carried with them.

I had been lounging around, waiting for my next meal when two male wolves came to me.

At first I was on guard and growled a warning. That was until I smelt what was on them and let them explain why they came after me.

Apparently a small group of rouges was attacked and almost everyone died. They are looking for anyone to join.

Honestly I am a very antisocial person. I've almost always been alone. The one time I lived with others it didn't end well.

But I'd do anything now to find out what the scent was.

Its affecting me in a way I never thought would happen.

And I would find it.

It suddenly be came the center if my world. I craved it. I craved to know what it came from. I needed it.

This scared me. I never needed anything. Not once in my life and now I did.

Nun the less, I still had to find it. Whatever it was.

So I decided to go with them. Something I would never do if I wasn't in this situation. I'd gladly kill them and go about my day instead. But this was different.

I'd go with them, grab it and run. Then never let it go. Ever.

"So how long have you been a rouge?" The guy asked.

What was his name? J, K? Whatever.

"While." I shrugged.

I knew he wanted to interrogate me more but he held back. Something about these two weren't normal. Maybe because they were wolves?

Not very observant wolves. They didn't even notice what am.

We soon made it to a cave. Around it was the scene of a huge fight. Blood and chunks of grass where everywhere.

It was nothing compared to what I've seen, but these rouges must have really pissed someone off.

"You found one." A guys said looking at me.

"Yep, and we didn't need you." The girl said before leaving.

"Jena wait!" He said before running after her.

I raised an eyebrow at J or K.

"There having issues." Jk said.

I nodded.

A few moments later another two boys came into sight. One a vampire and another a wolf.

Weren't they like arch enemy's or something? I had an instincts to separate them but pushed them away.

I wasn't like that anymore. I was dark now. And dark was what I'd be.

"Found one?" The wolf asked coming to the other wolf.

"Yeah. What about you guys?" He asked.

"Nothing." The vampire shook his head.

"It's alright. We still have tomorrow." J said.

"Right and were going together." The other male wolf said.

"Sounds good." He smiled.

This was getting weird.

"Lucifer this is, Blue and Logan. Logan and Blue, this is Lucifer." J said, suddenly remembering there more more to life then the guy inbfront of him.

"Nice to meet you." Logan smiled.

Why was he so friendly?

The vampire seemed to not like meeting people and kept to himself. I might end up liking that guy.

Except he smelt oddly like the think I needed so much. Which might cause conflict later on.

Just then Jena and the other guy came back outside.

"All better?" Logan asked.

"Yeah." Jena sighed.

"Good, you guys were scaring me for a bit there." Logan said.

"Nothing to be worried about." The guys said wrapping his arms around her.

"I'm Aden, the alpha." He said.

"Lucifer." I said.

"Cool name." Jena said.

Aden growled lightly and held her a little closer. Odd the way that worked.

I said nothing.

I was a master at being awkward and making it hard for people to talk to me.

Suddenly the scent I wanted to badly flowed to my nose. Whatever belonged to me was close.

Very close and getting closer.

The others seemed to notice to and looked aver at the woods.

Aden looked happy. Another member who joined maybe? I didn't really know.

What I did know was that the girl with blond hair and gray eyes was mine.

I had to hide my smile when I saw her. She was perfect. And belonged to me. All mine.

I wish it wasn't so dangerous. Having her so close. With each step it got worse.

Hopefully I wouldn't put her in danger. Her friends ether.

She passed me without a second glance and I couldn't help but notice how close that Blue guy came up to her.

It bothered me.

What bothered me more was when he started holding her hand and walking away a few minutes later.

They can't be together.

No.

Mine.

She's mine.

All mine.

Go die vampire.

I narrowed my eyes at him and tensed. I had competition. And he already had one fang in.

Looks like a feather would have to replace that fang. Soon to.
