It was the meet and it was time for me to do floor. I threw a roundoff back handspring. I tried doing more than one handspring, but I totally failed that. I fell on my stomach on my second handspring. And it hurt badly. But I continued and held my tears back. But I messed it all up by that...my score was 8.0 exactly and it made me feel like crying my eyes out, but again, I held it back. I looked back at the audience... and my parents and siblings weren't watching! And believe me, I looked everywhere you could possibly look! I looked at all the little details and they were just not there. I felt lost and uncomfortable with this. I looked for my friends.

"Loren? Amber? Bree? Amiyrah?" I called out.

I didn't hear a single response or see any of them I talked to my coach about it and she just told me it was time for bars. I cried out loud and humiliated myself in front of a large amount of people in my team and the audience and other gymnasts I didn't know. Honestly, I just couldn't take it anymore and I couldn't stand it. I just couldn't control it because I got tired of holding my tears back.

I immediately woke up from the horrible dream. What was I thinking of last night? Cause that sure wasn't a good dream. Anyway, I'm glad my mom woke me up because that's the only way I'd stop that dream quickly. It was actually kinda long, though. But I just realized why mom woke me up early. I actually had the level three meet today!

"Emma, were you dreaming?" Mom said when I opened my eyes finally.

I rubbed my sleepy with dark eye bags and said,"I had a horrible dream, Mommy!"

Mom carefully took the sheets off of me and said,"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that, baby. Please, tell me what it was about!"

I got up and took a seat on my bed. I thought of a good description first. I just thought about my dream and wondered what if it became true and my meet actually will be a fiasco! I swallowed a lump in my throats and imagined being lost with nobody I knew except for a mean coach! I would be humiliated by mistakes and crying, too.

"Oh, Mommy! I hated it!" I exclaimed. "it was about my meet! It was a disaster and you guys were not there to watch me and my friends weren't here! And I cried and was so embarrassed and I got a bad score on floor! I hated it Mommy! What if it comes true?"

Mom chuckled and said,"Honey, you know that won't be true, because first off, how would you even get there if we weren't there! Plus, you would not fail your floor! Girl, you are amazing at floor! Remember to keep your hopes up, though."

I nodded and she put me down on the floor.

"You know the drill," Mom said. "leotard and then hair!"

She walked out and left me to dress. I walked tiredly to my closet and looked at the selection of leos I had. I wondered where my team leotard was... let's just say oh wants in my sight? Am I losing my mind or is my dream just coming true?

"Mommy!!" I shouted out with an opened door.

She walked to my room and said,"What's wrong, Em?"

I gulped and pointed at my closet.

"How do you expect me to know what you're talking about with pointed fingers?! You know better than that Emma! Now go get dressed!" she exclaimed annoyed.

Before she walked out to the hall, I exclaimed,"No, wait! Mom!"

She turned around and raised her eyebrows.

"I can't find my team leotard I'm supposed to wear for the meet!" I exclaimed unknowingly.

She sighed heavily and said,"Oh my god! Honey, I thought you were organized! You know better than to misplace things! We bought that for an expensive price--we are not getting a duplicate! So you better go find it--we have lots of time Emma!"

I sighed when she walked back to her room. I hate looking for lost things...and I just don't remember misplacing it! I remember after gym going straight to the closet and hanging it there. Someone had to take it! I'm telling you! Anyhow, I walked around my entire house, looking at every little spot. It was just not there! I told my mom that and she just said to keep looking. It's easy. But honey, no it's not!! Since when is looking for lost items like clothes, easy?

I walked downstairs to eat breakfast. Josiah and Haley were already eating.

"Good morning, Emma!" Dad exclaimed joyfully. "also I found a leotard and I figured it might be lost. So I put it on the washer, not in it, but on it."

I had hope! I had hope that it was my team leo! It was missing, and I saw all my other leos, at least I think so. I dashed to the laundry room and found a pink and white leo with golden rhinestones. Oh my gosh! Thank you god! It was my leo. I guess I forgot to check everywhere.

"Thanks so much Dad!" I exclaimed, walking into the kitchen holding up my leotard. "it's my team leo I lost!"

"I don't think you lost it, I think you just misplaced it." he said and chuckled.

I giggled and then took a seat on the stool, eating my pancakes, bacon, toast, and scrambled eggs. After breakfast, I walked upstairs and told my mom the good news. Them I went back to my bedroom and changed out of my cozy pajamas into my pretty leo. I looked at my pretty leotard in the mirror and admired myself. Then I went to Mommy's bedroom and she did my hair.

"Your hair is all done! It looks perfect! Right, Emma?" said Mommy after working on my hair.

I nodded and said,"It really does, Mom! Is it time to go now?"

She looked at her watch and said,"Oh, yup! It is about time to go now! Just tell Haley and Josiah downstairs."

I nodded and ran downstairs to find Haley and Josiah. They were playing on the Xbox, not ready to leave yet. At least that's what I thought.

"Guys! It's time to go!" I said to them.

"Wait!!" Josiah exclaimed. "we're in the middle of a game, Emma!"

I was annoyed and said,"Guys!"

Josiah rolled his eyes and turned the Xbox off and then Haley and Josiah went with me outside to the car. Everyone was already there. But they didn't back out of the driveway.

"Don't you think you're forgetting something, Emma?" Mom said looking at me.

I hesitated. I was confused.

"Your gym bag!" she exclaimed knowingly.

"Oh!" I said, laughing.

"Go get it," she commanded. "the door is unlocked, be quick! And make sure you lock the door before leaving!"

I nodded and hopped out of the car. I ran in the house and went upstairs. Then I looked for my gym bag in my room. I found it laying under my desk, so I snatched it and ran outside, locking the door before stepping into the cold. I finally got into the car and they started driving.

Dad backed out of the driveway, and drove out of our neighborhood. I liked our area in Sacramento because of the sights and buildings, and unlike most places in California, we had neighborhoods here. We had houses. Probably because it's a different part in Sacramento. I honestly don't know, I'm just six. My mom always said I smart little girl for the age six. I felt proud for it.
