Ahhh. So warm and comfy. Zzzzzzzzzz. Zzzzzzz. Zzzzz-
"Get up right now Emma!" My mom's voice echoed in my room.
She practically tore my blankets off me!
"Mommy, stop it!" I cried and rolled into a ball to keep warm in the cold.
"You'd better get your butt down right now!" she exclaimed madly. "It's already 10:22 in the morning and we gotta get the schooling done before gym at 12:30! Get down quick or I'll take your tablet away!"
I groaned. I looooooooove my tablet so much! Don't tell anyone this, but I might like it even better than my siblings! Shhhhh. But ewwww she said butt! Gross!! Haha.
I giggled and said,"Ewwww you said butt!"
She rolled her eyes. Later when she left the room I hopped out of bed straight away and headed to my closet.
Under my gray tank top paired with comfy jeggings, was my metallic purple leo. It was pretty, but simple, and however, it still had the ability to be comfy! This is definitely one of my favorite leotards!
Later, when school was done, we rushed out to the car. It was already 12:13 and gym was soon, and we didn't want to be late.
"Bye Emmy!" My mom said, kissing my forehead as I ran into the gym playfully. "Have fun!"
"Oh, hey Emma!" Katie said, turning around to me, smiling. "You're a little late today, but it's perfectly fine. Just join your crew over there. We're just stretching."
I nodded and ran towards the girls. I went besides Shay and Bree. We were practicing going super far down in the splits while doing an over split. They each had one leg on a Matt. I don't have a mat though!
"Uh, where's the mats that you guys have?" I asked Shay.
"There's no more!" Shay said, giggling. "You're too late Emma!"
What? I am freaking out right now!!!! I don't even know if anyone else can see that, but in my mind I am at least!!! AAAAAAAHHHH. I can stretch without the mats, can I? Oh, never mind. I have an idea.
"Hey, Bree," I said. "Can I borrow your mat please?"
"No!" she exclaimed and pushed it away, laughing. "It's mine!"
I frowned and said,"You're mean. I'm telling!"
"No!!!!" she cried. "Pleaseeeeeeee don'ttttttt!"
Tears started to take over her eyes. Crybaby!!!
"Only if you let me use your mat!" I said, crossing my arms.
"Girls, what's going on over here?" Katie said, walking towards us.
Me and Bree exchanged panicking glances. "Oh....She won't share her mat!"
Bree looked at me, jaw dropping. "Yes I am!"
Katie sighed and face palmed. "Look girls, you've got to get it together. I dunno what's going on, but please share your mat with Emma, Bree."
Bree groaned and said,"Ugh! Fine!"
When she walked away, Bree threw the mat at me.
I smirked at her and practiced my over split. Later when we were done stretching we were practicing our skills included in our floor routine, and I was practicing my front handspring because in order to do a perfect front handspring on the vault bench, you've got to get a perfect one on floor, obviously!
"Nice job, Em," congratulated Katie to me. "Just make your legs get off of the floor when you're about land, just like you're in a roundoff tumbling pass. Imagine it that way and it'll be easier, got it?"
I nodded and ran for another one. I dove into a front limber with perfectly pointed toes and straight legs together, and my legs were in the air before I landed, just like Katie told me to do! Yay! I've got this!
Later at vault, I thought I could do better since I've pretty much perfected my front handspring on floor.
When it was my turn, I ran super fast and bounced into a front handspring. My legs weren't touching because they weren't completely together, but for the most part I did well. I'm just not really used to doing vault on a hard bench! Mats are sooo much better to do vault on. It's pretty scary on the bench.
"You did so good Emmy!" exclaimed Amiyrah to me.
"Thanks!" I said proud of myself, smiling.
