" Jax baby , we have to leave in fifteen minutes!" I scold him as he sighs and stands up to go get ready. It's been a week since he came home. I don't think I've ever been this happy before. We are finally on the right track.

" el , have you seen my good button down?" He grumbles. I roll my eyes. He can never find anything. I put down my phone and walk in to help him look.
" oh J , you lose everything" I bend down and pick up his shirt that slid off the bed and under it.
" except you" he grins and kisses my cheek. I blush and slap his shoulder softly.
" mom and dad will be there early so hurry and let's go!" I say jingling my keys at him walking out of the room.
We are meeting my parents at a restaurant a little ways away. They wanted to officially sit down with both of us now that they know we are together. Dad hasn't talked to me or Isabel that much either. I must say , I do miss him..
Making our way downtown , Jax holds my hand firmly and runs his thumb over my skin softly. As we enter , the man immediately takes us to the table with mom and dad. Mom sees us a smiles largely at us while dad makes this "hmph" sound. He's such a big baby.
" hey mom! Hi daddy" I greet them. Mom stands up to hug me and then we sit down.
" oh Jax honey , look at you! You're all grown up!" Mom gasps happily. Dad grunts at her obvious statement. She hits his arm and he looks at her annoyed.
" where's Isabel?" Dad asks gruffly.
" I didn't know she was coming?" I say confused. Jax looks at me , with his face scrunched in confusion as well.
" that's odd don't you think? Wouldn't she have told me?" I ask Jax.
" I'd think she would" he agrees.
" well we will settle this right now" dad pulls his phone from his pocket and dials her number.
" hello? Yes where are you young lady? Are you- are you crying!? Isabel! Dont you dare- hang up.." he looks at his phone angrily. Before we've even had a chance to order he gets up quickly , looks at Jax and nods.
" let's go" he says.
Jax hops up alert , kisses my forehead and they leave without another word. Moms face is full blown worry at this point and I try to soothe her. The waitress comes over and takes our order.
" mom what could it be?"
" honey I have no idea.. we haven't heard from her since the last time we were down!" She exclaims " I'm sure your father has everything under control"
    " I hope so" I sigh.

      The waitress brings the food out and me and mom chat small talk. I can see the worry in her eyes.
   " Elizabeth I've been thinking" she looks at me with intent.
    " yeah? About what mom?" I ask her curiously.
    " well , you know I love Jax right sweetie?" She asks. Where is she going with this.
     " of course , who wouldn't" I chuckle. Everyone loves Jax , sometimes a little too much.
      " what I was thinking is , I know it's a little soon but when you guys get married me and your dad could pay for the wedding" she offers. The food that was once in my mouth slid down my throat and choked me. I begin to cough and instantly grab my drink.
    " mom , I would love to accept your offer but I'm not even sure we will get married" I shake my head. Although the thought of Jax in a tux really blows my mind. I'd love to walk down the isle and see his face at my dress.
   " you're picturing it aren't you" mom smirks at me and I feel my face go tomato red. I shake my head no , but she had already caught me.
    " no! I'm not!" I gasp
   " yes you are! I'll take that as you accept my offer" she says smugly. The waiter comes over and takes our plates. We leave a generous tip on the table with the money for the food. Feeling extremely full I slide into the seat of the car and drive towards my dorm as mom follows me.

          We sit anxiously waiting for the call. Waiting to know what's wrong with my sister.
Mom sits on the couch tapping her foot in beat to some song she's humming. I on the other hand have planted myself on the floor , legs crossed and with my phone in hand. We both know better than to call or text first. That would lead us to be in trouble by them or them possibly hurt or even killed.

         The possibilities keep running through my head , is daddy okay? Is Jax okay?  Is Isabel okay? What the hell is going on!? Soon enough the phone blasts into life and scares the hell out of me.
     " hello?"
   " hey baby , look we need you and your mom to come to Isabel's immediately. Bring some Tylenol if you have any." Jax says soothingly.
     " Jax , what's going on!?"
    " nothing very good" he sighs " I love you ellie , hurry to me" he hangs up.

    I go to my room grabbing the Tylenol.
" what is it!? Who's hurt!? Where are we going!?" Moms frantic voice calls to me. I shh her.
   " he didn't tell me anything. We have to go mom!" I says walking fastly to my car. She follows me at a slight slower pace. The engine to the car stutters slightly and then powers up. I turn the music to a low volume and hit the pedal.

       Knocking on the door , dad answers.
   " she's in her room" he states. His face is red with anger. Jax looks at me and gives me a half smile. As I pass him he slips his arm around my stomach and pulls me in for a kiss. He releases me after and I go into Isabel's room.
    " el?" She sniffles.
   " oh honey , what's wrong?" I ask , petting her hair soothingly.
    " Jared left me.. and I found out I'm pregnant" she cries into her hands. My breathing stops for a second. Jared , that bastard.
      " hey it's okay. You have me to help you look after that munchkin. Dad is here for you , mom is here for you and even Jax. He or she will never go without , I promise. I know you love Jared , but if he can't man up and take responsibility then he doesn't deserve you or the little one growing in your belly Izzy" I say holding her. Her cries soften and she nods.
    " you're right, I know , but it still feels like my heart is being ripped out" she looks at me with tears spilling down her cheeks.
   " why did he leave?" I ask
  " when I told him I was pregnant he totally freaked out. He grabbed his stuff and left" she wipes her nose on a tissue.
   " oh honey , he is just scared. Jared loves you and he will love that baby. Give him some time okay? He will come back" I assure her. Even if I have to drag him , he will be back. He will take responsibility. 
  
      " can I come in?" Mom knocks softly. Isabel nods and we switch places. Making my way from the room , dad has left and is outside on the phone. Jax wraps his arms around my waist as he sits on the barstool and lays his head on my breasts. I run my fingers through his hair softly.
      " come here" he looks up at me and with his hands , pulls me to him softly.
     " with pleasure" I whisper as his lips touch mine. As always the sparks soar between us. Our lips move together perfectly.  He rubs circles on my waist as he holds me close. Releasing from the kiss I put my forehead against his and he grins.
    " I love you" he says with a smug smile.
   " I love you too Jax"
   " you have no worries , I'll take care of you and our rugrats , I will love them more than I could ever love myself" he confesses to me. I gasp , looking at him in complete awe. Is he saying he wants to have kids with me? So that means he wants to marry me right?
    " baby don't overthink it" he chuckles " I'm saying when the time comes. No matter how soon or far away. I'm there. Always" he assures me and places one last kiss on my lips.
