''Not whoreing yourself out tonight, Pipsqueak? A little rain stopping you?~'' Envy said in his usual snarky raspy tone the moment Edward walked through the door a bit soaked from the rain, making Edward roll his golden tired eyes, too tired to argue despite wanting to confront Envy about his medication and money, but kept his mouth shut, till Envy spoke again. ''How did you even pay for all that, when you had no money? Did you have to give handjobs to people in the alleys?~'' Envy asked tauntingly again making Edward's face twitch in anger, biting back on his tongue despite his scowl, ''Or perhaps, your little boyfriend helped you again... He could never say no to you~'' Making Edward's hands shake in anger. 'Learn, how to say no, learn how to speak up.' Edward recalled what Roy said to him earlier before they both parted ways, ''No.'' The blonde said simply surprising the palm haired male who raised a brow at him, ''Oh?... You've got something to say to me? Because it sounds like you do.'' Envy said making Edward tense up but ignore him walking off to the kitchen. ''Guess the stray dog has a voice.'' Edward heard Envy say again ignoring him as he took off his red sweater exposing his bruised up shoulder, heaving a heavy sigh as he took out the things from the bag but got a hold of himself, ''Harlequin, come here girl.'' He called out expecting to hear the pitter patter and meow of the tabby, confused when he didn't hear anything. ''?... Harlequin?...'' Edward called out again going over to the bathroom seeing she wasn't in there, going over to the room seeing she wasn't there, under the bed, or in the closest either feeling a small panic overcome Edward when he ran to the living room to check up under the couch where she usually hid from Envy, not finding the tabby there either. ''Harlequin?... Harlequin!'' Edward called out with Envy in the kitchen looking at the cat toys, ''That's too bad... Your precious cat isn't here to appreciate the things you got her~'' Envy said with a grin and taunting tone that made his heart drop when realizing what Envy meant, 'Learn to fight back.' Recalling Roy's words again feeling anger overwhelm him. ''Maybe you'll actually learn your place now-?!'' Envy started turning around till he was grabbed by his collar and pushed against the refrigerator roughly feeling a hit on his face drawing blood, now seeing an angered look in Edward's golden eyes and face, realizing Edward had finally snapped and lost it ''Well, Well... Looks like you do have rage in you, hooker.''. ''SON OF A BITCH!, WHERE IS HARLEQUIN,WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER! WHERE IS MY CAT, YOU PIECE OF SHIT!'' Edward screamed angrily hitting the palm haired male again, who just wiped at his mouth disapprovingly, ''Oi, Oi... You shouldn't have done that, Cry Baby...'' Envy warned with a familiar scowl worrying Edward since he had stepped out of line, but got angrier. ''DO WHAT YOU WANT, I DON'T GIVE SHIT! YOU'VE ALREADY TAKEN EVERTHING AWAY FROM ME, ENVY... EVERY FUCKING THING! SO DO WHAT YOU WANT, I DON'T FUCKING CARE! I FUCKING TOLD YOU TO KEEP HARLEQUIN OUT OF THIS!'' Edward said angrily inches from the palm haired male's face, pushing him against the fridge roughly again but let go with a scowl running off. ''You sure are cute... I wonder why Edward would lie about you?...'' Roy said softly in the heavy rain holding the tabby cat who was wrapped in a blanket he had gotten for her, inside his coat against him, seeing her look to him and meow, and purr nudging herself against him, taking a deep breath when feeling his allergies kick in, ''Allergic and terrified of cats don't mix well...''. ''...You're pretty calm...'' Roy said changing the topic to take his mind off his fear and allergy of the cat in his arms, holding the umbrella closer to them, pausing in his steps when realizing he had no idea where Edward lived, ''...I don't even know where your owner lives... I completly forgot to ask Havoc... Let's just hope for a miracle, yeah Harlequin?'' Roy said with a smile. ''Excuse me, have you seen a tabby cat around?'' Edward asked stopping every person he could, only to recieve the same answer from them, ''No, sorry.'' Only making Edward feel his heart ache more everytime, when someone ignored him because of his bruised beaten appearence and panicked expression and tone when asking, feeling his heart drop completely. ''I-I... I've looked everywhere... I've asked every person I possibly could... But... I still can't find her...'' Edward said with a pained expression stopping in his steps, in the pouring rain, that just made him feel worse dropping on his knees, making a sound in pain from his body pain, feeling tears build up in his golden tired eyes, feeling his hands shake and anxiety kick in again. ''S-She was all I had left of Alphonse... I can't lose her... I can't lose the only thing I have left!... I-I can't lose... Her... I want her back... Give her back to me, give me Harlequin back...I want her back! Please...'' Edward hicced with a sob rubbing his eyes pausing when hearing a voice, ''Brother...'', ''Alphonse?...'' Edward hiccuped hearing a familiar meow follow after. The pained blonde looked up to see a familiar raven haired male kneeled in front of him, holding his black umbrella over them with a smile, holding the meowing wrapped tabby inside his coat, making Edward give a choked sob in relief, ''Hey, looks like I got lucky.'' Roy greeted, ''Harlequin... You found her... I-I... I was so scared that I had lost her...'' Edward sobbed with Roy sighing but smile at him again. ''I tried calling you-?!'' Roy started but stop when feeling Edward grab him into a hug and kiss his missing cat multiple times as people drove by them glancing them odd stares, ''It's okay... She's safe now...'' The raven haired male assured seeing Edward's neck was hickeyed up and bruised, seeing his exposed shoulder was the same way, "?...''. ''T-Thank you for finding her... I-I owe you... I-I could just...'' Edward sobbed with a hiccup with Roy stopping him, ''You don't owe me anything, Edward...'' Roy said getting flustered when Edward was looking up at him gratefully, despite his tired pained expression in his golden eyes, close to his face like previous times getting him nervous, and more flustered. ''Let's get you somewhere warm, before you get sick, Edward-?!'' Roy said softly changing the topic with a kind smile, but stop when Edward had gotten his face and kissed him suddenly making him blush surprised, ''Thank you!... Thank you!... Thank you!...'' Edward said with a hiccuped sob and small grateful smile, making Roy get more embarrassed and flustered when the blonde got his hands in his, but speak up with a flushed smile, "...You're welcome...". ''God, this weather just got worse, and he still went to look for the kid, even though I never told him where he lived? And on top of that he still risks his allergies to get the cat back to the kid?!... Shit!... I wonder if he found him?... I should call him-?'' Havoc said in his place lighting a cigarette, pulling out his cellphone, but pause when hearing someone drop by his door as if they had fallen, concerning him instantly going to the door to answer it, to check out the noise. ''Hello?-?!'' Havoc started but paused when seeing Roy sitting against the wall soaking wet and tired, holding Edward in his arms against him who was passed out holding the meowing tabby in his arms seeing Edward's bruised tired appearance, ''Jesus Chief are you crazy?!... What the hell happened to the kid?!'', ''I'll explain later... Just give me a hand with Edward, we need to get him inside, he's catching a fever.'' Roy said with Havoc nodding, ''Yeah, of course...''.
