   "just leave me alown!" when i cry out another one pops up in front of me.
   "come on kid, calm down." with tears streaming down my face i back away from the black and white monster in front of me.
   "jack, did you get the kid?" my pointed ears twitch as the voice sounded.
   "ya, but she seems a bit freaked out."he bends down to my height. "hey their kiddo were not going to hurt you."he gives me a shark toothed smile and reached a clawed hand twords me. i rush off the the left. "NO!"
   with so much Adrenalin rushing through my veins i didn't feel it when one of his claws cut my arm. no no no no! why'd i have to be an idiot and wander from mamas side now i'm lost and a clown is chasing me along with a computer game character and a wanna be joker. my lunges burn and my legs hurt from running for so long, but if i falter then one of the ones chasing me will catch me and i don't want to die.
   i come to a cliff. "stop running...huff huff. oh i need to sit down." i take a shaky step backwards and look over at the ledge. when i look back i see the game character and the joker wannabe.
"stop running kid, we'er trying to help you." i take a step back seeing the game character more clearly.
   he looks like link from legend of zelda except his eyes were black with red pupils and he was crying blood. he takes a step twords me. "i told you people to leave me alown." i shake my head. "why wont you just leave me be and stop chasing me." that's when i hear it the ledge brakes before i register what was happening i'm now falling. i give a scream and wait for impact.
   "are you going to stay in my arms or thank me for saving your life?" i open my eyes and see a gray skinned elf hes holding onto a branch sticking out of the side of the cliff his arm around my waist keeping me from falling to my death.
   "uh, um. uh t-thank you." i stutter out I've never seen another elf except for my mom and uncle candy pop. "um who are you?"
   "that's not really a question for the moment now."he readjust's his grip on the branch. "why did you fall, and what is a beautiful girl such as you doing out here all by yourself."
"he-he thinks i'm beautiful?" i hadn't even relised i said it out load.
   he starts to laugh nearly letting me go. "of course, why wouldn't i think that?"
   "hey kid! you still alive?" we both look up to see three faces pearing over the ledg to see if i went splat.
   i point up. " i was running from them."
   his eyes scan the faces above before landing on the link lookalike. "ben I'm gonna kill you!!"
I giggel at that, he looks at me with a crooked smile. "Dark link? What are you doing down there?"
   "I was saving a beautiful young woman that you scared off with your ugly mug!" He looks to me. "Lets get out of here." I give a small nod. "OK, hold on." when he said this i wrap my arms around his neck and he holds on to my waist with one hand  the other still on the branch above us. he kicks away from the cliff wall and we started free falling. he kept a death grip on my waist as we went down, he landed on his feet and looked back. "shite!" he places me on my feet. "we have to run,"

   i cut him off. "ok!"i grab his hand and bolt off into the depths of the forest. 

   "can you slow down?!" i can hear his voice behind me acompenyed by his heavy breathing.

   "noway!" i say this with a smile. "you speed up." i pump my legs to go faster and turn so im looking at him pulling him behind me with a large smile on my face.

   "alright your asking for it kid." he pulls me twords him. "comer!"  he had a large grin on his face mischief gleaming in his eyes.

   i give a squeal and run off letting his hand go. "catch me if you can elf boy." i giggled gleefully as i weave between trees and duck under branches. soon i get to where theirs nothing but a bunch of burnt trees no grass or leaves just a bunch of soot and ash.

   i stop just on the outside of it. theirs a cliff that looks like their was a waterfall on it once, and skeletons of trees. "hey? are you ok? your crying."i hadn't even realized dark or the tears had ever caught up with me.

   "w-what happen'd here?" i was stunned to say the least.

   dark looked like he was fighting back tears as well. "um no one knows why but their was a fire here a long time ago and the fire was so hot that it killed everything even the seeds from the trees, nothing has grown here since." a single tear fell from his red eyes.

   i walk in stopping in the middle. i fall to my knees push my pinky into the soot. i then open the locket i had and take out the merical seed i keep for emergency. if this doesn't work then nothing will. i place the seed in the hole and cover it, covering it i place a hand on eather side of the seed and utter one word. "crescere."

   when i thought it wouldn't work the ground started to rumble shaking the trees behind me. "whats going on?!"

   i don't even get a chance to stand before i'm whisked up into the sky. leaves and branches growing above me. when the tree stopped growing i move. standing i slip, clumsy me. "oh, not again!" i fall through the branches, only stopping when i land in a pair of strong big arms.

   "honestly kid, you gotta stop putting yourself in danger." i look up and see my uncle candy pop.

   "um can you put me down please?" he sighs nodding once. my bare feet land on soft grass, i look around seeing a bunch of flowers and the soot covered clearing was now i warm grass covered clearing with a few fruit trees and flower bushes.

   "how did you do this." dark was looking around in aw, trying to take it all in at once.

   i hear water start to flow and look at the waterfall to see a softly flowing water fall. "well it may have something to do with my name." i give a soft smile.

   "what is your name." i look to him, seeing his soft smile.

   "its surrexerunt."

"comeon surre. if we dont get home soon your mom will kill me." i look at my uncel and see hes holding my box and his own.

i frown. "can dark come with us?"

"fine but if you run off again your going in your room, understand?" i gives me a stern look.

i give him a shit eating grin. "yup!" i grab dark's hand. "comeon!" we start walking and not before long we get home and i'm engulfed in a bone crushing hug.

"surrexerunt you had me so worryed i dident know if one of the hunters had gotten you or if you lost, why dident you put your bells on this morning?!" mama was histarical.

   "m-m-mama your crushing me."she loosens her grip on my small frame. "i didn't put them on today because i couldn't find them."her face sofend but her tears didn't stop. 

   "its ok im just glad your safe. "she pulls me into another hug. i love my life except monochrome clowns.>~<
