(A/N: I bet the chapter title made your eyes light up in excitement ;) Anymywa, thanks for all of you reading! Please feel free to comment and tell me what you think! x)

It's Friday. I survived the week without my mom, and I promised myself I wouldn't think about her, so I won't.  The school day went fast, and we had an activity during Greek Myth. It was fun, but at the end of every class, teachers would look at me like I was some wounded pup.

Science was not bad, we had a presentation from a biochemist in the city. All those science talk really worn me out. Mr. Larson didn't talk to me, which was peculiar. He always greets me before and after class time. He'd always look at me too. But today, he didn't glance at me. Not. Once.

The last 3 periods were a drag, and I excused myself numerous times to go to the girls' room to just sit in one of the benches attached to the wall and write on my notebook.

How was school?

"Pain in the ass." I responded with a sigh. Apollo walked to me and sat next to me. I was watching tv, some reality tv show on MTV was on. Apollo didn't talk, and I remember his promise of showing me who he really is.

"Your promise." I said impassively. Apollo just stared straight towards the television.

You're upset right now, and I don't want to fluctuate your emotions.

I sighed. He was right. Before I found out mom was in the hospital, I kept telling Apollo to show me who he really is, but now that I don't know what to feel anymore, I just didn't care.

It's gonna take some time, and I'll give you that.

He jumped from the couch and was walking towards the door. I stopped him.

"Wait. Where are you going?" I asked in a desperate tone. I didn't want him to leave me.

Giving you time. And privacy.

I ran to the door and locked it so he can't go out, unless he turns human and opens it himself.

"No." I whispered, then I felt a tear falling from my eyes, to my cheek, then down my chin. I heard Apollo breathe out, then walked upstairs. There were only 3 rooms upstairs. My parents', mine, and a guest room that is barely used.

"No." I said loudly, and I knew even if I whispered it, Apollo could hear me.

Hmm?

"I'm seeing you, in human form. Right now." I demanded. I wasn't gonna let my mom's passing away ruin my moment today. A promise is a promise.

Allison.

"Apollo."

He sighed, then walked downstairs.

At least smile.

I tried to curve my lips into a smile, and I succeeded, but my eyes failed.

Christ, Allison.

"Hold on." I said, holding out a finger then ran towards the bathroom in my room. I washed my face with cold water, and I dried with a towel. i brushed my hair, which I don't do often, and I took the bobby pin that pinned my bangs to the side. Short fringe hairs flowed from my forehead, and I looked better. I breathed out and smiled at myself in the mirror, and my reflection was staring right at me. I'm gonna see the person I'll be with for the rest of my life.

Apollo was waiting for me outside, and I opened the door slowly, which was dramatic, but I did anyway. I scanned my room to see my wolf but he wasn't in my room.
