I was having a great sleep until I felt a figure getting out of bed. I was too lazy to turn around and see what she was doing, she was probably going to the bathroom to brush her teeth or something. I turned around and when my thought was proven right, I closed my eyes and waited for her. She didn't take too long. When she came out of the bathroom, she laid next to me again, brushing the hairs our of my face.
" Stop staring, you freak. " I told her and smiled and without even opening my eyes, I was sure that she was smiling.
" I'm not staring. " she laughed. I opened one eye to prove her wrong but when I did she immediately looked away.
" You suck. " I pulled the pillow that she was laying her head on and threw it in her face. She immediately threw it away and jumped on me, sitting on my stomach.
" You suck. " she repeated and slapped my face playfully.
" Did you just slapped me Lentini? " I asked, she acted innocent, going along with the game. I snapped, attacking her and pulled her on me, hugging her tight and made her hide her face in my neck.
" Shannon, I literally can't breathe! " she laughed, her laugh sounded like soft music in my ears.
" It's okay, you'll manage. " I kissed her neck softly and let her sit normally again. When she tried to speak, I attacked her again, turning our bodies over so I was on top of her. She smiled, making me smile to and wrapped her hands around my neck, pulling me in for our morning kiss. Which, of course, was interrupted by my phone ring.
" I swear, I'm gonna throw it out of the window one day. " I said annoyingly, she just laughed.

Why is Cari calling me so early in the morning?
" Hello? " I picked it up.
That was when my heart sunk.
" Oh my God Shannon, she is just swollen, her face is so swollen and her eyes are completely closed, I don't know what do to, what do I do, I can't- "
" Wow, wow, slow down there, what happened? " I rolled out of bed and stood up, hearing Cari sobs from the other line made me heart reach a speed I didn't even know it could reach.
" It's Claire, her face is swollen and she is crying and her eyes are just closed, I don't know what to do Shannon, I'm such a terrible mother, I'm so sorry baby, oh my God. " her sobs became more and more aggressive, her breaths were unstable and her voice was cracking.
" I'm on my way okay? Just calm down and I'll be there in 10 minutes. " I panicked and looked around the room to find sweats to wear.
" I'm really sorry Shannon, just hurry please. " she begged, I didn't even bother to give an answer, I had to hurry. I threw my phone on the bed and runned over to the wardrobe to grab some sweatpants.
" What the fuck is happening? " Ella jumped out of bed looking at me.
" I don't know, Cari was freaking out, something happened to Claire. " I wore the sweatpants and made a messy ponytail to my hair. " I have to leave baby, I'm really sorry. " I gave her a kiss.
" No don't be sorry, I'm coming with you. " she said and held my shoulders. I wasn't a bad idea, I could calm Cari down but who would calm me down if I freak out too?
" Okay, let's go. " we rushed downstairs and wore our shoes. I grabbed my car keys and runned to the car. Thank God the ride to Cari's house wasn't too long. And with the fear I had at that moment, we reached our destination faster that we should be.
