 Jenna:

Cool? Wow, he could be such an idiot at times. I laughed though. He looked so cute when he was embarrassed. His cheeks were red, and he looked younger suddenly. Like a little boy who had just told a girl he liked her for the first time ever.

We got back to the bus at around 2:30 a.m. and I could still see lights on through the window. There was a cool breeze outside and I was pretty cold, even with Tony’s jacket, since I was wearing shorts. I checked my phone, no message from either Kristi or Leila. I smiled thinking how they’re probably flirting with some guys at the party.

“You want to head into the bus? It’s pretty fresh outside and although you look really cute with my jacket, you still seem a bit cold.” It was my turn to blush. Tony Perry had just said I was cute. I nodded. “Yes, please. I guess I’m still getting used to San Diego weather. Where I’m from, it’s hot as hell. Even a little change throws me off.” He laughed softly. “Come on.” He opened the door and I followed him into the bus.

I could hear the sound of the TV before I stepped in. “Hey Tone! Finally back! Where did you go for so long?” I could identify the voice as Jaime’s quickly enough. I knew he hadn’t seen me come in yet because Tony was in front of me, effectively blocking me from his view. “We went out for a walk.” Tony answered as he stepped aside. That’s when Jaime finally saw that I was standing there. “Oh, hi there. You must be Tony’s new friend.” Jaime sat up on the couch he was just laying on and shot Tony a look that I did not comprehend. “Hi, and yeah, I guess I am. I’m Jenna.” As soon as I spoke I heard Vic’s voice come from the back of the bus. “Did I hear Tony come back?” he said as he made his way towards us. “Yupp.” Said Jaime nodding. When Vic arrived to the front he looked up and saw me. “Oh, hello.” He said confused and looked at Tony for an explanation to why a sixteen year old girl was standing in their bus at 2:30 a.m. “Vic, meet Jenna. I met her earlier tonight after that phone call I got. She saw me leave the table and followed me. She found me in front of the bus when I was done with the call and we started talking. Then we decided to go for a walk. And now it’s a bit fresh outside so I invited her in.” Tony explained calmly. For a moment I thought Vic would be mad that I had invaded their private touring-quarters. However, he seemed to understand and he looked back at me smiling. “Oh cool, well nice to meet you Jenna and welcome to our temporary living space. Sorry about the mess.” I smiled. “Thanks, and are you kidding me? This is nothing compared to my brother’s bedroom.” That comment earned some laughs from all three guys and I felt like they really didn’t mind my being here. “Yo, keep it down up there! I’m trying to sleep!” I heard Mike’s voice although I couldn’t see him. “Sorry about that. Mike’s in his bunk. He hasn’t slept much in the last couple of days.” Vic apologized for his brother. “Oh, it’s okay. I understand.” I smiled shyly. I could feel all three of the guys’ eyes on me and I blushed a bit under the pressure of everyone’s gaze. Jaime spoke up all of a sudden. “Well take a seat Jenna. Make yourself at home.” He patted the space on the couch to his right. I nodded and accepted the couch offer, suddenly realizing that I was tired.

“Do you want something to drink?” asked Tony as he walked to the mini fridge that was in the kitchen area of the bus. “Some water would be fine, thanks.” I answered and smiled, even though he had his back to me. He took two water bottles out of the fridge and handed me one. Then he took a seat on the couch in front of me. “So, we had started to think someone kidnapped Tony. You didn’t take him forcefully right?” Jaime asked jokingly as Vic took a seat next to Tony to join the conversation. I laughed. “No, I wouldn’t do such a thing. Plus I don’t think I could stand a chance against him. He’s probably way stronger than me. It was his idea to go for a walk. We just forgot to check our phones for the time.” “You know he’s not as strong as he looks. I mean come on, he doesn’t have these babies.” Jaime continued as he flexed his arms. I laughed at him. He seemed so outgoing and confident, I couldn’t help but relax. I glanced at the couch across from us and caught Tony rolling his eyes while Vic laughed. “That’s not what you said when I kicked your ass last week.” Tony laughed looking at Jaime. “That doesn’t count, I let you win!” Jaime became pretty defensive. I looked over at Vic and he shrugged. “Oh really? I could probably kick your ass again if I wanted to.” Tony replied. “You’re on! Next bro fights are in two days!” Jaime laughed. “You guys sound like a married couple, you know?” I laughed. Jaime faked a gasp. “You insult me Jenn.” I was surprised when he used my nickname but I didn’t really mind. It showed he felt comfortable with me and I could feel like we could become good friends. “Forgive me Hime, I meant no harm.” A light bit of sarcasm was present in my voice. Jaime took my hand in both of his and looked at me, “Consider yourself forgiven.” I laughed and he let my hand go. I could hear Vic laughing too. “Gosh Hime, She just got here. Don’t scare her away so soon.”
