Toothless landed, Astra not far behind him. You were still behind Hiccup, and sat upright quickly when you noticed the chief. "Ha ha ha! There he is!" Stoick announced, the chatter rising. "The pride of Berk." Hiccup quickly dismounted, and you followed soon after as he approached his father. "Who finally decided to show up for work. Yay." Gobber says, less than impressed to Hiccup. He gives you a little wink though, seeing as you helped him earlier that morning. "Sorry, got held up." Hiccup says, ducking away from Gobber's prosthetic arm. He walked towards his father. "Hey, uh, dad, could I have a word?" He asked. You took your place beside Hiccup as he asked.

"Something you're itching to tell me?" Stoick asked in an excited tone. "Uh, not quite the itch you're thinking of, but yes." You decided to hang back, going through the new materials Gobber had gotten lately. Ooh! Looks like he had gotten what seemed to be diamond. Maybe you could use it to reinforce Hiccup's blade. He'd appreciate a sword that can break other items. You could hear Stoick going on about Chieftain duties and watched with a small smile as Hiccup grew annoyed, trying to tell his father about what happened earlier. He's got this. You tell yourself.

You watched as Hiccup was dragged into making saddles, realising, Nope, he don't got this, whilst you thought of a way to get Stoick to listen. You went to approach the Chief when Grump shot a blast at the forge, because he let it die again. You jumped back to avoid being hit by molten flames. When you finally made it over, you caught a bit of their conversation. "Any new dragons?" Fishlegs asked. "We didn't hang around to find out." You said, bringing their attention to you. You smiled at Hiccup, before turning to Stoick. "It was strange, not far off the island, there was a fort, blown to bits by a giant ice spike!" Fishlegs furrowed his brows. "I don't know any dragons that can spit giant ice spikes." You ignored his comment and stayed focused on Stoick, who was still making the saddle. "Yeah," Hiccup added, "the people here weren't too friendly."

"Oh really? Your two Night Furies didn't bring them cheering to the rooftops?" Gobber asked, an air of sarcasm in his voice. "These guys were different." Hiccup said. "They were dragon trappers." You added. "Said they were working for a man named 'Drago Bludvist'. He's...making a dragon army, I think is what they said?" The nearby villagers began to look worried. Stock's face fell. "Yeah, what she said. 'Dargo Bloodyfist'. Something like that." Hiccup adds. You had never seen the Chief so serious before. "Bludvist. Drago Bludvist." He corrected his son. "Uh, yeah. Wait, you know this guy?" You stood behind Hiccup, kind of hurt that he hadn't paid much attention to what you had said, but shrugged it off. Stoick's eyes landed on you, and approached you slowly. "We're all doomed..." He muttered so quietly, you swore only you heard it. After that he started running in your direction, moving past you and heading for the Great Hall. You and Hiccup made eye contact, before racing after his father, your dragons tailing after you. "Ground all dragons!" He commanded. "Seal the gates! No dragon or viking sets foot off this island, until I give the word!" You ran in front of him. "Wait, what? You can't be serious, Stoick." He gently pushed you aside. "This is for the safety of you all. Because Drago Bludvist's a madman without conscience or mercy. And if he's built a dragon army, gods help us all..." You could see the look on Hiccup's face, and you knew far too well what he was thinking. "Let's ride back out there. We'll follow those trappers to Drago, and talk some sense into him."

"No. We fortify the island." Stoick says, dismissing his son. "It's our duty to keep the peace!" Hiccup urged. Whilst they were arguing, you had slipped onto Astra's back. "Peace is over, Hiccup. I must prepare you for war." Hiccup's brows furrowed. "War? Dad, if Drago's coming for our dragons, we can't wait around for him to get here! Let's go find him, and change his mind." Stoick wasn't having it. "Some minds won't be changed, Hiccup. Berk is what you need to worry about. A Chief protects his own." He turned to go make some more commands, Hiccup now seeing you mounted on Astra, and Toothless looking at him worriedly. "We better go before we can't." You say quietly. He nods, and goes to mount his dragon when Astrid walked up to his side. "Hiccup, don't." He looked down, before pulling her into a hug. "I have to." And with that he climbed onto his dragon and you both took off. Stoick turned to see you both leave. "Hiccup! (Name)!" But his words were faint now as you both flew off. You turned to look back, expecting to see that Astrid had followed you, but the gate was shut and there was no Nadder in sight. That's when you began the silent flight, following Hiccup and readying yourself for whatever plan he had in mind.
