The night was getting late. I still haven't returned home since the phone call. Yes I'm officially calling it 'The Phone Call.' I was walking around listening to music when I saw a face. That sounds weird but the face was one of my other partners in crime. Sure Kyle and them are my best friends but I have others as well.
"Morgie!" I shouted at blonde haired guy doing a wheelie off a skate board ramp.
He turned, and from here I could see his dark brown eyes.
"Is that you Ray?" he yelled.
"You know it!" I dropped my skate broad and skated towards him and the other people there.
Morgan got off his BMX bike and ran to me. Then off total surprise he picked me up and hugged me. What the heck? I mean, Morgan isn't usually this friendly.
"I missed you babe!" Morgan whispered in my ear.
Okay hold the rock. Something is seriously wrong here. I grabbed on to Morgan's hand and dragged him away from his crowd. Even thought Morgan is like 6"3 I could take him.
"What the hell are you doing?" I demanded, confused as ever.
Morgan laughed at me, making my stomach go a little weird. His high cheek bones, his cheeks were a natural pink. His lips were soft and full. I mentally shook myself and glared at him.
"It was a joke. Chill Ray beams. Since when did you get so uptight?" Morgan rubbed my shoulder, which sent chills down my spine.
Why am I getting these reactions? Oh god, why did all this shiźa have to happen to me?
"Eh, boy drama I guess," I sighed while taking off my glasses.
"You're kidding right? Our little Ray?" Morgan grinned at me.
"Yes, I dated Angelo for like a week, then one thing led to another and we're done," I choked on the last words.
"Are you okay?" I heard Morgan ask as I bowed my head.
"Yeah, I just need to..." a sob escaped my throat.
Pathetic right? Over some guy.
'That guy was one of your best guy friends,' a voice inside reminded me.
"Wanna get some McDee's?" Morgan asked.
I laughed, sniffing away my gross snot. Yes when I cry I snot and become a total mess. Ew, I know.
"You know me will Morgie," I smiled and looked up.
"Yes will, I'm starved. The guys don't need me anyways," Morgan gestured to the guys that he was leaving.
I just hope the girls at home dont get worried. Mind as well call them. I phoned my house phone and on the third ring I heard Amy's voice pick up.
"Hello?"
"Hi Amy, it's Ray," I said.
"Oh hey! Where are you?" she asked.
"I'm out with my friend Morgan. I don't know when I'll get back but help yourselves to anything, and I wanted to let you know where I am so you guys wouldn't worry," I explained.
"Okay thanks, see you later then," Amy said and hung up the phone.
"Ready?" Morgan asked as he got on his bike.
"Yes!" I yelled went skating down the hill.
'Just like old times,' I thought....
