After we had something to eat (My stomach was growling more then a wolf) Curtis and I went to go get more fire wood. We were silent. Either of us wanting to ask or talk about it. So finally Curtis asked.
"Did it hurt?" pained filled in his voice.
I nodded.
"What are you going to do? I mean, I don't know Raven. Things have changed so much since the TV show," Curtis ran a hand through his blonde hair.
I sighed.
"I know. Can I tell you something?" I asked as I grabbed a pile of sticks.
"You can always tell me anything," Curtis replied.
"I don't like Angelo anymore," I said, as it felt weird admitting it.
"Why?" Curtis asked.
"I guess whatever we had is gone. Ever since Morgan died, things have been different," I said, feeling the weight of Morgan's necklace on my neck.
"Yeah. Will who do you like?" he asked.
"I honestly don't know. I told Adam I liked him. I do, but I don't want to jump into anything. Next boyfriend I have after Angelo I'm planning on staying with," I said as the RV came into viewing.
"Well this is our little secret," Curtis smiled at me.
I half smiled.
"I guess it is," I said.
This felt like our relationship before all this craziness happened. I missed it. I piled the wood on the fire and went in the RV. I grabbed Rayn's phone and called Angelo back.
"Hey broskie!" I heard Angelo answer.
"Oh hey, this is Raven. You wanted to talk to me," the line went quiet.
"Ya, are you alone?" he asked, his happiness of his tone gone.
I went in the washroom.
"Yeah now I am," I replied.
I know what's coming next. I mean can he be more obvious?
"Ray we should break up," he said.
"Okay," I shrugged.
"Okay?" he asked.
"Yeah I agree," I told him.
"Oh....will I guess this is it then," he said awkwardly.
"Yes....will see you whenever, bye," I was about to hang up the phone when
"Wait!" Angelo yelled.
"What?" I asked kind of annoyed.
I mean, we broke up, simple as that.
"Why are you taking this so easily?" he wondered.
"Look Angelo could we like talk about this later, I'm tired and yeah," I sighed.
"Sure, bye," and he hung up the phone.
I hung up also. I know he likes another girl. It doesn't bother me. Like I said whatever we had is gone. It was fun while it lasted. I got out of the washroom, and went in the bedroom. Adam was laying on the bed when I got in.
"Really now?" I asked, arms crossed.
"Agh! Go away Moron!" Adam swatted his hand in the air.
"Can't nerd. This was my room first. See my things?" I ask.
Adam cocked an eye open and groaned.
"Just come lay with me," Adam grinned.
"I would never sleep with a guy!" I gasped.
Adam sat up and gave me a "You-have-to-be-kidding-me-look."
I grinned. I sat on the bed and laid down in Adam's lap. I had my eyes closed.
"Why are you such a great singer?" I asked as I yawned.
"Because I'm more experienced," Adam replied.
"Oo, yeah," I laughed.
"Really? Really? You are a sick person Raven," I felt Adam shake his head.
"But I'm your sick person," I pouted.
"Really?"
"No I'm just joshing you, but Angelo and I broke up," I sighed.
"That's good," Adam said happily.
I opened an eye to see him staring down at me smiling.
"I mean no it's not," Adam said immediately.
I laughed.
"It just wasn't there," I said as my eyelids became heavy.
"What?"
"The spark," I whispered.
"Will with me, you'll always have the spark," I heard Adam whisper.
I let the welcoming darkness take me as their own.....
