Curtis' POV
I stared grimly at Ray's face. She had been pissing me off lately. First she goes out with Angelo, now Adam? I guess she can't see the feelings I have for her. I shook my head sadly.
"Ray!" Adam yelled at her worriedly.
I glared at him. Slowly she got up. I grinned. She looked at all our faces. Then she got up and looked in the mirror. The look on her face could put 1000 starving kids to shame. Pity isn't what I would say. More like hurt. She started to cry. My heart sank. She ran out, tears rolling down her cheeks.
"Ray it was a joke!" Zee laughed.
But she ran out. I looked out the window and saw her ran into the woods. Shit. Adam glared at Zee.
"That wasn't funny. Why would you do that?" he growled at Zee.
Zee looked flustered.
"Uh... I dunno," he said and looked away from Adam.
I shook my head. Zee isn't that good at thinking before he does things. We sat there and ate. A few hours later, when Ray didn't come back, we all started to worry.
"Where I'd Ray?" Adam asked nervously, pacing the floor.
What did she see in him?
"Guys I'm kind of scared for her," Dane's girlfriend said.
"Yeah we don't know what kind of people are out there," Dawn agreed.
"Search party?" Kyle suggested handing out flashlights.
We all nodded. It was chilly. We all went out and split up. I was walking when I saw something. The dirt was dig into. By shoes or something. I followed the tracks and saw car marks where the drag tracks stop. Oh no. Then I saw something that would break my heart. Ray's blue bandana.....
