Harry opened the wooden door, the cool breeze following us into the small log cabin. It was all one floor, a living area took up most of the space, a kitchen was to my left, through a door in the kitchen was a small bedroom.

"It needs a bit of cleaning but it should work." Harry spoke as he placed some of our things on the table that sat in the middle of the room.

"It's perfect." I smiled, glancing around.

"We're going to head back down and let her folks know you made it here safe." Liam said as he walked through the doorway, carrying in the rest of our things, not that we had much.

"Thank you so much. You guys are really too kind." I walked to them, hugging them both tightly.

"Of course." Niall grins.

"See you soon mate." Liam slaps Harry on the back, leaving as quickly as he had came.

"You should get some rest. We have a lot of things to do tomorrow." Harry turned to me.

"You should too. It's been a long day." I looked up at him.

He nodded. "I'll take the couch." He glanced at the small couch placed against the wall.

"I can sleep there. It's tiny." I insisted.

"I can't let you do that. I'm fine. Much more comfortable then my bed back home I'm sure. That thing is terrible to sleep on." He chuckles.

I hesitated for a moment before slowly nodding. I turned and walked into the bedroom, placing my small bag down on the bed. Glancing back out of the room, I saw Harry placing a few blankets on the sofa. Closing the door, I undressed and slid into my nightgown. I pulled the pins from my hair, the loose waves falling in my face. I ruffled through my bag and found a brush and brushed through my long hair.

Setting the brush aside I stood in the cold room. A washstand was against the corner of the room. Walking over to it, I grabbed the tin pitcher and walked to the door, grabbing my shawl and wrapping it around myself before walking out of the room.

Standing in the middle on the room was Harry, pulling off his shirt. "Oh I'm sorry." I breathed.

"No need to apologize. Do you need something?" He smiled at me.

"Water." I spoke.

"I'll get it. It's cold out. There may be a storm tonight as well." He informs me as he strides over and grabs the pitcher from my grasp.

I stayed quiet as I watched him pull on a shirt and his boots as he opens the heavy door and leaves me in the cabin.

I curse at myself for acting so strange when I came across him with no shirt on. It was a lot to take in.

Moments later he returned. "Here you go." He handed me the pitcher full of water.

My eyes stayed on his as he leaned down, kissing me gently on the head. "You should get some rest."

I nodded. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight Adaline." A dimple appearing.

Turning on my heels, I slowly retreated to the room, closing the door softly behind me.

He was easily one of the most beautiful people I had ever encountered. And he wanted me. A large smile stretched across my face as I lay back on the bed.

Harry

I watched as she disappeared into the bedroom, leaving me standing still, as of waiting for her to come back out. I let out a sigh and ran a hand through my hair.

Pulling of my boots, I sat on the couch, my mind flooding with thoughts of the stunning girl only fifteen feet from me. The cabin wasn't very big. She was constantly on my mind, making it nearly impossible to think of anything other than her, not that I minded.

I sighed as I lay on my back. I could hear Adaline still rustling about in her room. A loud thud was heard and I heard a quiet, "Damnit." come from the room. I couldn't help a small grin from across my mouth.

As completely cliché as it sounded, she brought out bits of me I hadn't seen in awhile. Just her being around me made me want to be better, for her. I hadn't known her very long but she had me wrapped tightly around her finger, without even being aware of it. Hell, I dropped everything and came out to live in the mountains with her to help her and her family. But I didn't regret any of it.

She was the only girl I've really ever wanted. Sure, I had thought girls were pretty or admirable, but I hadn't ever had feelings this strong for anyone. And that scared me. In all honesty I was planning on living on my own for the rest of my life, just the cows and I. That thought never bothered me. But now the thought of being alone didn't seem as appealing as it once had.

When I first met Adaline's father months back, he would always talk about his daughters and how lovely they were whilst we were busy building his home. I never thought twice about them, there was no desire to. Until I saw her with my own eyes. My, she was a sight. Her long, light brown hair was always tucked behind her ear. Her green eyes shone brightly. The smallest dimple in her left cheek when she laughed hard enough, was enough to have me in a complete trance.

As I lay in the darkness, I couldn't keep the smile off my face. I hoped so badly that she felt the same. If she didn't it'd be quite the blow to my ego if I was being honest. I adored her.
