Chapter 49

After a few months searching for Kenya,we just realized we'd probably never see her again. We went to the mansion first,only to see it empty,with no trace left behind. With all of Mr. Johnson's different connections,we still weren't even able to get a clue of where she was.

Roc was heart broken for months,that is until he went off to college (with a bit of encouragement from mr. Johnson since he didnt want to go without kenya) and met another girl, Zendaya. No one could stand her,but we knew how he wad broken on the inside,so we didn't really bother him about it whenever they visited.

Despite not finishing school,and promising not to be in the hospital anymore, Peyton is five months pregnant with ray's baby. The still plan on going to college and such,and she's homeschooled to avoid humiliation at school her senior year. Ray,of course is excited about the whole idea of a baby,and works his tail off at his new job as assistant manager at the local Starbucks. Its only down the street from where we live.

Oh,and did I mention we'd found another house,not a mansion,but two story and big enough for us. We just didn't feel comfortable with all of the memories in mansions,so we decided not to get one,which was a good choice.

Amaya and Prince are having problems with their relationship,and are on and off every month or so. Its really getting annoying,but I guess that just happens. She got a tongue piercing just a few weeks ago,and Prince said he'd loved it,and she accused him of lying to get to her. I'm just over it all.

Mr. Johnson works in the city now,and he promises not to leave us or put us into any danger for as long as he lives. He's been keeping his word so far,and is even planning on proposing to his little friend he's been seeing for forever.

Speaking of "little friends", Diggy's found his match,finally. He's going off to college also,but not out of the state like Roc. His girl, Bonita, is very pretty and nice,which was a surprise for us all. We're very happy for them though,and I wish them the best.

As of me and Craig,we're as close as ever now,and nothing can break us apart. We'd started making friends,and now its a group of us,which i'm pretty happy about. Its literally the first time i'd had friends since we stayed with Mama. Speaking of her,we visit her grave every so often,just updating her on certain stuff. It seems as if her spirit is always with us,no matter what,and I love that.

Alot can happen in just a year,eh? Yea,but sad to say,I doubt this is the end...
