It took,at the most, four hours to arrive to the house. When we finally got there, there was a huge gate in the front, and the man driving had to get out and put in a code so we could get in. The gates slowly opened, and we rode in. The first thing I noticed was how big a beautiful the front yard was. They had patches of flowers here and there, and thick, healthy grass everywhere. Something we rarely saw back home. We drove on up,and I saw a sight that made mine,as well as my sisters',jaw drop. The house was huge, and it was very beautiful, it looked like it had to have at least four floors in it,and the windows were huge, letting us glimpse at the inside. A tall, dark haired man stood outside the door. He had on a suit that looked very expensive, and he smiled once he saw our limo pull up. I had to stop myself and my sisters from gaping at the size of the house. We weren't used to this kind of thing,at all.

The man driving came to the back and opened the door for us,and we grabbed our bags and stepped out of the limo, still stealing amazed glances at the gigantic, gorgeous house. The man looked at us,smiling. "Beautiful, isn't it?" He asked, looking back at the house. I nodded,my eyes still wide. I observed the man some more. He looked to be about in his late forties, early fifties. Wasn't bad looking at all. He looked at us. "Nice to meet you,I'm Daniel Johnson." He smiled, shaking each of our hands. "And what might your names be?" He asked, raising an eyebrow at each of us. "I'm Kenya," I smiled, then looked at Penny, who stood beside me. "I-My name is Penny." She said, looking down and playing with her fingers. The man chuckled. "I'm Peyton." Peyton did a small wave, and smiled. "My name is Amaya Victoria Hathorn." Amaya did a small salute, causing me to giggle and playfully roll my eyes. "Well. Nice to meet you all. We are so happy to have you over as our new servants." He smiled brightly.

"Well,I'll take you inside to meet the boys. There's 5 of them, and they....aren't the nicest bunch." He chuckled nervously. I gulped, and we walked behind the man into the house. As soon as we walked in,I had to stop myself from gasping. The house was decorated so beautifully, and it looked very expensive. There was a white carpeted staircase, and the railings on the side were golden. I stared at them the longest. I looked towards my right and saw a grand piano, causing my heart to skip a beat. I loved music, and I was very good at the piano.

"Boys!!!" The man called out, making me jump a bit. I looked to the other side of the staircase and saw the biggest flat screen television and a long, beautiful, brown leather couch in front of it. There were family pictures everywhere,in gold picture frames, and everything was placed perfectly. "Now,I must warn you," Mr. Johnson looked at us,"the boys are a bit rude, and disrespectful, and very-" before he could finish, something caught my eye. I saw someone sliding down the railing of the staircase. Their back was facing me,and they wore a suit, like Mr. Johnson. I saw a big, fluffy afro on his head, with beautiful round curls. When he got to the bottom,he jumped down, sliding on the polished floor with his knees. I heard Amaya giggle, and the boy stood up,walking towards his father.

"Do I have to wear this stupid suit?" He asked, rolling his eyes and stomping. I can only imagine how spoiled these boys are. It wasn't a good feeling at all. "Yes,and please put on your tie correctly." Mr. Johnson rolled his eyes, sighing. I looked down and noticed that the boy had his tie undone and he had it wrapped around his head like a scarf. "Fine." He said, putting his tie on correctly and looking at us. He had a caramel skin complexion, and looked nothing of his father,so I guessed he was one of the boys that were adopted. He looked as if he were mixed with something, maybe Mexican?

"This is little Jacob," Mr. Johnson explained, putting his hands on Jacob's shoulders,"he's twelve and a handful at that." He said, smiling a bit. We waved at him,and he smiled a small smile, looking at all of us.

Next,I saw two boys making their way down the stairs. One of the boys had two long braids, and he was a little cutie, and the other boy had small, dark curls at the top of his head. I automatically knew the one with two braids was adopted, because he looked nothing like his father at all,but the other one was a splitting image. The raced down the stairs, and stood and their dad's side, looking at each other, then us. "This is Rayan,he's about to be 14," he said, placing his hand on the head of the boy with two braids,"and this is Daniel Jr. He's 15." The man put his hand on the other boy's head, giving it a little shake. The boy smiled, showing his dimple. "I prefer the name 'Diggy'" he said, looking down. We smiled, waving at the two.

Next,a short, seemingly energetic little boy ran from somewhere behind the stairs and screamed, throwing his hands up and hugging his dad. His smile was so big and he was so adorable. "And this here is little Craig. He's 7." Mr. Johnson looked down at the boy that was hugging his leg,and chuckled. We waved, and he waved back, looking at us.

"I'm gonna get you!" We heard a deep voice say, coming from behind the staircase. A somewhat tall, caramel boy jogged out, glaring playfully at his younger brother, causing him to laugh loudly. The boy stood up beside his father, looking at each of us. "And this is my oldest boy,Chresanto." The man said, looking at him. The boy waved, putting his hands in the pocket of his suit jacket. He had short, curly hair and brown eyes. "He's 17." Mr. Johnson said, then smiled. "Well, this is the whole bunch." He sighed. He introduced us to them, and as soon as he got done, they walked away, going somewhere else.

The man showed us around the house, which took what felt like thirty minutes, and he told us about all of the antiques in the hallway. There was a story behind each one,and they were very valuable. We then walked all the way to the other side of the house, where, surprisingly, there was another staircase. There were four rooms up there, and one huge bathroom. "This is where you girls will be staying. If you need anything,I will be in my room. Here are your uniforms." He passed us four uniforms each, saying that we are to wear them at all times. "I'm giving you the day off, because you just got here." He smiled, and we thanked him. He went downstairs, leaving us all there, standing there a minute to let this all sink in. We all entered one room, sitting on the bed. "I cant believe we're living in a house this big!" Amaya exclaimed, smiling.

"Correction: We are servants for the people that live in this house." Peyton said dryly, rolling her eyes. I sighed. "Look Peyton,I know this isn't the greatest situation, but we have to-" "You damn sure this isn't the best situation! This is just how it was when Momma left us. I hate my life." She rolled her eyes. "Watch your mouth. We are doing this to HELP Mama, and attitude or not,you better suck it up,because we have to get up at 6 am tomorrow morning,so whatever attitude you have right now, drop it." I said, authority in my voice. She rolled her eyes. "Whatever." I heard her mumble. I stood, telling Amaya and Penny to go take their baths. They left the room, and I sat beside Peyton. "Look,I know this isn't the best life we're living. But you aren't the only one going through this. Just stop thinking about yourself for once, okay? We're doing this because we love Mama and we're getting her the money for her treatment. Please stop being like this, especially in front of Penny and Amaya. They don't need this kind of negative attention." I said, rubbing her back. She looked down, then at me. "Ok..." She said, then looked at me.

I hugged her. "I love you.." I said, and she returned the favor. "And hey, that Rayan boy is kinda cute. I saw the way you looked at him." I whispered, giggling. Peyton gasped, hitting me on the shoulder. "He is not!......okay,maybe a little." She laughed. "And Chresanto is too." She looked at me,raising her eyebrows two times. I laughed. "Chile please," i flipped my hair in a ratchet manner," I got a man." She laughed as I stood up and walked out of the room like a model. I turned around, smiling at her.

"Goodnight." I smiled. "Goodnight," she said, and I shut the door. I walked in the next room to see Penny in her pajamas and out like a light.

I kissed her cheek and turned off the light, shutting the door. I went into the next room to see Amaya wide awake, looking around her room. She smiled when she saw me walk in,and she walked over to her bed. "Goodnight,Maya Bug." I said to her, blowing a kiss. "Goodnight." She giggled, blowing one back. I walked into my room, not even bothering on putting on my pajamas. I laid in the bed, looking at the ceiling for a while, then smiling. Soon,I turned on my side and slept, good as I did the first night we ever stayed at Mama's.
