HER BEGINNING

Samantha truly was a beautiful little girl. Her bright amber eyes and golden locks gave the impression of pure innocence, and her shy and tentative behavior drew very few to her. Her guardian took care of her as a mother would. Sam was placed in normal schools, living among humans. She was never under any false pretenses. As soon as she was old enough her guardian told her about what had happened. No truths have hidden no lies were spun to sugarcoat the horror. She knew the truth about her heritage and knew to keep it secret.

She had no friends, it made keeping a secret easier. She threw herself into her studies, soon becoming the school nerd. And as usual she got bullied, but she paid no heed to the rude remarks. In the blink of an eye, time passed and Samantha finished school.

That was when her life truly started...

"Come on Samantha. Put your weight into it." Sam pulled back, put all her weight into her right leg, then lunged forward. Her fist connected with the large bag causing it to swig back. The man currently holding the bag lost his balance and fell backward. "Better. Now try the kick I taught you." He said getting back up and positioning himself behind the bag. She gave no warning before again lunging at the bag. She stepped wide, faking left before spinning right. With an unexpected amount of force and grace, she lifted her leg and made contact with the bag. The bag flew back just as the chains snapped. The trainer was thrown back mercilessly and landed with a thud against the far wall.
"Oh my gosh, are you alright!" Sam ran to her trainer and knelt down to his sprawled out body.
"Should have expected that from a Lycan I guess." He laughed out peaking over the edge of the bag.
"Hey! You told me to never hold back Rick." She said lifting the bag and placing it against the wall.
"Yeah, but you didn't have to go and try to kill me." He groaned standing back up.
"Don't be such a drama queen. If I wanted to kill you I would have." She said rolling her eyes and stepping back.
The look on his face made her burst out with laughter.
"Okay then." He started looking down at her 5'4  small frame compared to his 6'1 quite muscular build. "I Richard Snype hereby challenge you Samantha Rose to a battle! The first one to tap out looses."
Without hesitation, Sam grabbed his outstretched hand and shook it.
"Deal." She said and he almost backed out of the fight when he saw the amber pools of her eyes swirl with streaks of gold.
Swallowing hard he took his place on the wrestling mat. He knew his Griffin strength would come in handy when fighting a wolf. Especially a Lycan she-wolf.
In the time where she-wolves still existed, the Lycan she-wolf was known to be a fierce fighter. They were the ones sent into battle with their mate at their side and normal werewolves behind them. They were dangerous together. Though they say there is strength in numbers Lycan preferred to live alone. With only the male, female and their children together. One Lycan family was strong enough to demolish an entire city without any trouble, but if a male loses his mate he would go mad. He'd lose his mind and later on kill himself from grief. A female is different in that aspect. She too would lose her mind, but her wolf would never allow suicide. She would hunt down the ones responsible and kill them viciously, them and the ones they love. Once that task is complete she would leave all that she once knew. Find the most vacant place in all dimensions and stay there till her wolf can take the pain no more. Then they too will cease to exist. This has happened only twice in the history of all worlds. Lycan is a very rare wolf and now there is only one she-wolf to continue that bloodline.

Rick shook himself from his daze just as Samantha took her place on the mat. He could see the sweat on her toned body and the way her eyes scanned every part of his body as they circled around each other looking for a gap. He stepped wide on purpose, causing a slight opening. Sam jumped at it attacking with a roundhouse kick. Rick dodged and countered with a punch aimed at her ribs, but Sam caught him by surprise by backstepping just in time and landing a solid back kick to his upper torso. The impact threw him off balance. He gained his balance but not quick enough. He was met with a flurry of punches aimed directly at his ribs. He was able to dodge a few, but she had got the better of him. Without warning, he released his wings and lifted from the ground. Sam, however, would have none of it, centering her weight she crouched low before launching herself into the air. She grabbed him by his ankle and with all her might pulled down.

Rick was ripped back down to the ground. He could feel the pain shoot through his wings just before he made a crushing impact with the ground. It cracked beneath him and Sam landed next to him with such grace it seemed like the air carried her in its soft embrace. She knelt down next to him, her eyes glowing an amazing liquid gold with amber flecks. Her grin reached her eyes and her hair hung in wild curls around her elegant face.
She reached out and stroked the side of his face with a gentle finger.
"Poor poor Rick. Do you tap out?" She whispered close to his ears.
"Never!" He groaned grabbing her by the shoulders and flipping them over. She shrieked in surprise and laughed as he pinned her down. His eyes darkened with excitement. The next moment she was laughing and squirming under his monstrous fingers as they dug into her side.
"Stop! Please stop!" She laughed trying to fight him off.
"Do you tap out!" He asked, stopping his onslaught of tickles. Breathing heavily between laughter she looked at him.
"Never!" She called squirmed and shimmied out from underneath him. Before he got up she jumped onto his back, clinging to him like a monkey on a tree. She laughed as he tried to reach her, but she was able to escape his grasp. With a roar, she reared back and bit him on his shoulder. With a yelp of surprise, he jumped, but she moved her head and bit him again.
He reached back and grabbed her ear. With an actual growl, she let go of his back only to bite his arm. He screamed as she drew blood and quickly let go of her ear. She jumped from his back and walked around him, her eyes never leaving his and his never leaving hers. She licked her lips and his eyes zeroed in on the action. She bit her lip seductively and could see his Adam's apple bob up and down. Turning slightly she could see his eyes follow her every move and she used that to her advantage. Swaying her hips slightly she walked towards him. She traced her finger over his chest and glanced up at him with the most innocent look she could muster. He seemed to almost be in a trance-like state. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled herself closer to him. The only thing separating their chests from touching was her sports bra. She felt his arms tighten around her slim waist, pulling her even closer, but before he could make a move on her she wrapped her leg around his and yanked it forward. He lost his balance and fell backward pulling Sam down with him.
"That was low of you." He mumbled rubbing the back of his head as they both stood up.
"You taught me to use everything I have to my advantage, and so I did."
He shook his head as she grabbed her towel and headed to the door. She turned back to him and winked.
"You know I would have won don't you?"
He only smiled before stepping through the back door.
