Sam was flung against the wall again. Matthew laughed evilly and stalked towards her. Her whole body felt weak with the poison still burning through her body, but she could feel Lex fighting through the fog of pain.

Matthew picked Sam up by her hair and lifted her to his height. She closed her eyes and scratched at his wrists trying to get free from his grip. She kicked out to him but he grabbed her leg between his and yanked her body to his. Sam gasped out loud when she felt his tongue trace a path along her throat. Suddenly Lex was in full control and she dug her nails into his wrists.

Matthew pulled back with a growl and threw her across the room. Though Lex was now in control she was still very weak and could not completely transform. Matthew slammed his claws into her shoulder and ripped her back. She now stood on her knees, her back pressed against his legs and golden blood dripping down her arm. He grabbed her hair and yanked her head back. Lex growled and her eyes opened wide as she felt him bite her neck.

The bite burned as he broke skin but that was not what has Lex loose control. He had bitten her where her mate was to leave his mark. He was trying to mark her as his, trying to break the rules of fate, but Lex was no ordinary wolf.

Matthew pulled back from her and howled in pain. He looked down at her throat and saw the bite heal completely. It felt as if he had swallowed fire as her blood filled his body. Everything burned and he fell to his knees scratching as his throat. Lex stood and turned towards her. She had broken through the fog and had complete control of Sam. She shifted into her half-wolf half-human form and walked over to a coughing Matthew. Bright red blood dripped from his lips to the pool of blood in front of him.

"Dear Matthew." She said kneeling down to his level. She placed her fingers under his chin and lifted his head to look at her. His eyes were wide and filled with both pain and hate. "You of all people should know you cannot mark a Lycan if she was not made for you." If possible his eyes went wider when she grinned evilly at him. "Shall we play?" She whispered into his ears before throwing him across the room.

Matthew hit the wall with a force strong enough to crack it. In the blink of an eye, Lex was in front of him, lifting him from the ground by his throat. He kicked out hitting her in the stomach. Lex dropped him and grabbed her stomach, coughing. She looked up just in time to see Matthew lunging at her. She dodged and turned facing him.

"You are a strong one arent you." She said preparing herself for another strike. Matthew faced her with complete hate, wiping the blood from his mouth.

"Well, if I cannot mark you I would have to kill you." He growled lunging at her with unspeakable speed. Lex sidestepped his attack jumped to the second floor. When Matthew turned around Lex was no longer in her rather revealing nightdress, but rather in a black outfit with weapons at various places. She smirked at his shocked expression pulling two daggers from her belt.

She jumped down, straight towards him. He jumped out of the way but had to recover fast as she lunged at him with various different stabs aimed directly at his heart. He dodged as fast as he could but she kept attacking. A few cuts landed but he was able to evade most of them. He ran to the stair but was cut short by a knife flying past his head. He swung around just to come face to face with a deadly looking she-wolf. Her eyes glowed a brilliant gold and she seemed ready to kill. He saw her reach for her gun and quickly lunged forward grabbing her wrist. He pulled at her with immense force and she spun to him. Her back hit his chest with a thud and he almost toppled over with her. She pulled another dagger from her belt without him seeing and jabbed it into his leg. Though the pain was searing he pulled a needle from his jacket and pushed it into her neck. She roared in pain as the poison-filled her blood. He felt her loose strength as her body became heavy in his arms.

Lex started to panic as she felt herself go weak and she could feel Sam trying to fight to stay awake. As a last effort, she whispered Esree's name and hoped that she would be able to find her. Everything started to fade and soon Lex and Sam were left in darkness.

Matthew picked her up and carried her into a bedroom. Laying her down he looked at her slender form. She had shifted back into her human form and he was shocked by the resemblance she bared to her mother. He stroker her hair and felt the softness surround his fingers. He brushed away a stray curl and tucked it behind her ear.

Her red lips seemed soft and inviting and he leaned closer to her. His hand traveled over her body feeling every curve. She was strong but her body was soft yet not weak. He touched her skin and was surprised to find it was completely smooth and warm. He kissed her softly on the lips and the feel and taste of her drove his wolf to the breaking point. His wolf pushed to the front and he kissed her more fiercely. His hand became desperate, wanting to touch all of her at the same time. She groaned as he pressed himself against her.

A knock on the door snapped him out of it and he pulled away from her with an irritated growl. When he opened the door he found one of the men he posted at the door.

"Sir, we have a problem." The man peeked around Matthew and seemed shocked at the now tied down form with a torn shirt. "sir-"

"What is the problem?" Matthew said pushing past the guard and closing the door.

"There is a witch at the door Sir. She said she is here for her daughter." Matthew turned to the guard with a frown.

"Did you restrain her?" He said his full attention now on the guard.

"Well, Sir, we tried, but we can't seem to touch her." The guard looked distressed. Matthew's frown deepened and he turned to the front door. There, in, what used to be the front door, stood a beautiful woman. Her long black hair brushing her waist. An almost seethrough emerald green dress softly kissing her supple form.  Her green eyes burned a bright green as she glared up at Matthew. He saw his men scattered on the floor and in the courtyard. Some were still in one piece, but many were torn to shreds. The corridor reeked of blood and death. He stepped back in fear, immediately recognizing her sent. He spun around and ran for the room, but was stopped as she materialized out of thin air to block his path. Black lines surrounded her eyes and her skin seemed sickly pale. Her fingertips turned black as long talons grew from them. He sensed her dark aura and knew she was close to complete destruction.

"Where is my daughter?" Her voice was cold and sharp, piercing his soul and scratching at his core. The guard, unable to feel her aura, jumped in front of his master and attacked the witch. She let out a piercing screech and stuck the guard with her talons. He flew to the side but got up and ran at her his claws extended. Just before reaching her, she struck out her hand and the guard stopped in his tracks. Matthew looked at the guard and found him looking down. The witch pulled her hand back along with the heart of the guard. The blood dripped from between her fingers. The guard coughed up blood before dropping to the floor. Lifeless eyes staring at Matthew.

A dark figure appeared next to Matthew, grabbing him and pulling him into a void. When the light filled his eyes again he was back in his castle facing a very angry father.

"Do you have her?" His father growled out. Matthew looked down in shame but did not answer his father. "No, you don't, cause you thought it would be fun to go and try to take her when you knew you could not. You evoked the fury of the strongest sorceress to ever walk this earth because you acted like a horny pup!" The king roared out the last part of his sentence. Matthew stepped back in fear as his father angrily pushed everything from his desk. "I hope you are happy now. If I did not send this..this magician to go get you, you would have been dead as well. Now tell me. How the fuck did she find you?"

Matthew cleared his throat but the magician spoke first. "It seems that Esree and Samantha have a stronger bond than we originally thought. Samantha was able to summon her with a single whisper." The king looked at his son with enough anger to break even the strongest of soldiers.

"This is your last chance, Matthew. Find her and bring her to me before she finds her mate."

Matthew looked at his father with a grin. "She has already found him but has not yet accepted him. I can tell you who it is as well, but for a price." The king fumed at his son's statement but nodded. "Why don't you call your son and ask him yourself. Ask him why she has not accepted him yet." The king looked shocked and Matthew smirked.

"You might want to be quick. Once she accepts him, she is unstoppable." He said while leaving the room.
