My mom used to always say that life is an endless circle. Everything you have done, good or bad, will come back and either bite you in the ass or give you endless riches. At one point in my life I would have never believed her, but as I stand in the...
Rays of sun penetrating through the window landing on the tan bodies that were wrapped together like a giant pretzel. The soft rise and fall of her chest let me know she was still fast asleep. I couldn't help watching her sleep, she looked like a angel. So calm, peaceful, and most beautiful human being to have ever walked the Earth. I traced over all of her features, from her doe eyes to her small luscious lip that tasted just like I had pictured heaven did. She was truly amazing, and to think if I had not decided to get away from the Valley for a while I would would not have traveled to Houston and met her. Even though it had been just over two weeks since we met, I was already so captivated by her.
"You know that it is rude to stare, right?" her sleepy voice was so God damn sexy. It made me want to take her here and then. She must have seen the lust in my eyes, for her started to sparkles with mischief. She carefully lifted herself off of the bed and walked towards the bathroom, bare naked.
She swayed her hips back and forth wanting me to see just exactly I was missing out on. "Why don't you join me for a shower?" She said in a sultry voice. It was sticky sweet and had my insides melting. "Don't mind if I do." I gave her a smirk as I stalked my way towards her. As she leaned against the bathroom door way , with a coy smile playing on her lips. I caged her between the door way and my body, looking into her gorgeous brown eyes.
"Go in ahead of me, I have a special soap I want you to scrub me with. I just have to get it out of my bag." I gulped, not being able to stop the graphic and sexual images in my head. "Go get the water warm. I will be there shortly." She practically purred. I rushed into the bathroom, stripped in record time and turned on the shower as hot as I could get. Then and there I knew this woman, was going to bring me so much joy in life but also be my death.
A year, A whole fucking year I had waited for this moment, and I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. There she was just as radiant, if not more since the last time I had saw her. Her dark brown hair was long and had a few high lights in them, her skin was a darker shade of tan and her lips just as pink as I remembered. It would have made things easier if she looked like shit, but of course the Lord couldn't help me out a little.
She wore dark jeans, a white floral shirt, and a dark cowboy boots. She stuck out like a sore thumb, compared to the club girls. While they wore tight tiny dresses she was covered almost completely. Deep down was ecstatic to see her, but I could not let everyone know that.

"Squirt?" I couldn't help the scowl that made its way onto my face. I had so many emotions going through my mind. First was hurt, she up and left me, without so much an explanation. Second was confusion, what was she doing here? Third was anger, she left me! She gave me a fake smile and waved at me with a "Hey." Her voice was just a lovely as I had imagined. The last time she had said to me, still played in my mind as we stood there. "Wha-What are. What's going on? "I was getting tongue tied. I couldn't comprehend that she was actual here. I had dreamt of this moment for months. Wishing that I would run into her at the grocery store, the mall, at a restaurant. I finally convinced myself that I would never see her again, she had gone home and wanted nothing to do with me, but here she was.
"I had to speak to my brother. It can wait till tomorrow though. Nice seeing you again Noah, but I have to go." she gave me a sympathetic smile and kissed her brother's check. I could barely make out what she said, but I did catch the end. "I will be back tomorrow, around ten. Olivia is going to watch Thena."
"I don't think you should go by yourself. At least take someone with you." Cristiano reasoned.
"I need to get home. Now." They were having some type of conversation with their eyes that I could not understand. Cris finally gave in and nodded his head. "Say hi to Thena for me." he added.
"Who is Thena?" I asked curiously. I didn't want her to leave, I was going to try and get her to stay for my own selfish reasons. "I told you Noah, I have to go." she sternly said as a frown etched its way across her face. She scurried away with not so much as a look in my direction. To say it didn't hurt would be a lie, it felt like a thousand knives piercing through my heart. It was the summer all over again.
"Dude you know my sister?" Cristiano gave me a confused look.
"I thought I did." I mumbled to myself.
"What was that?" He asked.
"Sorry," I faked a smile "Yeah, we met in Houston about a year ago. She is a nice girl, every hot." I smirked, trying to cover my disappointment in the situation. I couldn't believe her brothers were the Sanchez's or the fact that she had been in the same town as me the whole time. "Dude, that's my fucking sister." Cristiano mockingly gagged. I couldn't help but chuckle at his reaction, if he only knew what we had done; He'd kick my ass.
The fresh air nipped at my arms as I sprinted across the parking lot to reach my vehicle. My chest burnt with emotions that had been buried for months now. I quickly pulled out my keys and unlocked the door to my red Kia Soul. The engine purred alive, the music started playing helping me distract myself from the encounter I just had.
He is here. He is going to be here forever now, and I couldn't escape the past. I never thought I would have this mistake catch up with me, but boy was I wrong. Fourteen months, a ton of sleepless nights, thousands of dollars later, and a days of crying had all seemed like nothing because just being in his presence calmed me and made me feel safer than I had in months. After a ten minute drive I arrived at my three bedroom condo, a place where I had no worries.
I rushed up the stairs, taking two at a time desperately hoping I didn't wake anyone. As I turned the knob into my condo I felt ten times calmer. Their sitting on my plush brown leather couch was my best friend Olivia, and in her arms was my four month old Athena Renee Sanchez.
