Chapter 2

A knocking at Lana's door disturbed lana and made her jump, she pricked her finger on her sewing needle and swore loudly, if only septre mordane could hear her now.

Lana went over to the door and unlocked it. She rolled her eyes when she saw who it was and went to slam it but he was too fast, he put his foot in the door stopping her.

"What theon, you know you can't be here." She said pulling him in and looking out to see if anyone had seen, thankfully nobody was there.

"I'm not leaving until you come over here and make me." He joked playing with Lana's sewing kit.

"Get off of that, you'll break it." Lana grabbed it out of his hand and he caught it roughly.

"Tell me you don't want me." His face was so close to hers she could feel his breath on her cheek.

"I already told you, what happened between us was a mistake, you know that as well as i." She grabbed her hand back from his clutch.

"Fine but I took your maidenhead, that's not something that can be easily forgotten." He smirked, obviously proud of himself.

"Just go theon, I mean it." Lana said calmly.

"Well something tells me that your going to come crawling back to me when Johns gone."

"What do you mean." As far as lana knew her brother wasn't going anywhere.

"Didn't you know, he's going to the nights watch."

"What?" The news hit her like a knife.

"I think a quick shag will cheer you up." He announced, as he tried to hold her slim waist.

"Theon get out." She pushed him toward the door and waited, when he was gone Lana stormed out of her bedroom and into the courtyard with a face like thunder. How could he lie to her, how could he let her think he even cared about her.

Lana spotted Jon at the armorers talking to a fat man who made all the swords in winter fell.

"Were you ever going to tell me or were you just going to disappear in the night?" Lana demanded, shouting at Jon.

He looked shocked at first but then that loom turned to guilt.

"I was going to..I" he began

"you gave me all that rubbish about wanting your sister back when your leaving." Lana was still shouting

"Let me explain at least."

"Explain what? You are leaving for the nights watch and I may never even see you again." Lana was Hurt, he could tell.

"Hey I'm not leaving you, I will keep in touch you know I will." He promised. He stepped forward and put his hand on her arm.

"Don't touch me." She said pushing him away.

"Lana.." Jon said softly

"Just leave me alone." Lana turned on her heal and ran.

That night lana didn't go to supper with her family, she stayed in her room and cried. Jon promised her that he would never leave her and that's exactly what he was doing.

A knock at the door interrupted her thoughts.

"Go away." She ordered wiping her eyes.

"Lana it's me, open the door." Her fathers voice was soft but firm.

She got up and looked at Herself in the mirror, her hair was disheveled and her eyes were red and puffy. She made her way over to the door while smoothing her hair and unlocked it. Her father was standing outside, the snow was fresh on his long hair.

"Can I come in." He asked

"Well you are going to anyway." Lana said returning to her bed.

Ned followed and sat beside her, he noticed that she had been crying.

"Have you been crying lana?" He asked concerned now.

"Of course I have been crying, my brother, my twin, is leaving me. I may never even see him again. I know you and your precious wife don't care about him but I do." The venom in her voice was overwhelming, Ned looked at the floor ashamed.

"Lana I love all of my children." He said.

"You just prefer the ones with the stark name." She said looking at him hard

Ned swallowed. Nothing he could say would change a thing.

"I do love you lana, I love you both."

"Well I'm glad because I will never know if our mother does." Lana said looking at the painting of her and her brother on her table.

Ned glanced at her and then turned away. Those memories were to painful to relive.

"I'll leave you alone to think, do you want me to get Jon?"

"No, I don't want to see him." Lana said coldly

"Goodnight lana." He put his hand on the door handle.

"Is she alive." Lana asked suddenly interested.

"We will talk about your mother one day, with Jon." He exited leaving lana, she had never felt more alone.
