"Wake up, be quick about it." Cersei's voice boomed.
Lana's eyes immediately opened and she moved over to the far side of the cell. She was started by the queens presence, however there was something about Cersei that always put her on edge. The queen for once didn't look very beautiful. Her golden hair was tangled and thrown into a messy platt. Her skin was tired looking and she was wearing a old cream dress.
"I'm not going to kill you if that's what your worried about." She sat on a stool outside the cell. She waved for the guard to leave.
"No but you'll get your wish in a few days time." Lana said bitterly, she didn't care what she said to her, she knew how this ended.
"When I first saw you I was so jealous." She tilted her head to the side as if she was remembering.
"Jealous of me?" How could Cersei envy her, of all people.
"You were everything I was, young, beautiful, men falling at your feet. I miss that, having something that no one else has. You came here and you didn't realise how people looked at you, you were oblivious to it all.
Then I noticed how Jamie was and I knew he must have fallen for you, I don't blame him to he honest.
"So all this is about Jamie." Lana asked.
"No, there was one thing you had that made me envy you more than anyone else in this world. Family. Your father loved you, sisters that looked up to you and brothers that would die for you." She admitted, with a sad look in her eyes.
"And then you and your son took it away from me, I had nobody after that." Lana almost shouted.
"That's not true is it, you had Jamie, my brother to keep your bed warm."
"So it is about Jamie."
"A little, he was mine not yours." She spat.
"I didn't know about you and him until I was injured and bought back here." Lana could remember that day all too well.
"How did you find out about us?" Lana asked, half afraid of the answer.
"Your dear friend Petyr bayelish, he told me all the details of your midnight romps and hours spent looking into each other's eyes." She said sarcastically.
"So it's true?"
"What is." She asked
"He was just playing me the whole time, I actually thought he cared about me." Lana finally knew the truth.
"That was the biggest mistake you could ever make." Cersei got up and smoothed down her dress. She looked hesitant to leave.
"I'm going now, this is the last time you will probably see me."
"Cersei I know you hate me and I know why but promise me one thing, don't let him do anything stupid when I'm dead, please." Lana pleaded.
All she did was nod and fled from the room.
The next day lana felt like death warmed up, she was hungry, aching and dirty. Her head pounded all day and night and all she wanted was to see him again even if she knew she never would.
Lana pleaded with the guard to send for Jamie but he refused every time,it had just hit her that he was the love of her life, when she was with him everything changed, she was his and he was hers. She fell asleep crying, with his face in her dreams.
"Lana, lana wake up." A voice whispered, there was somebody with a torch outside her cell.
Lana rubbed her eyes and got up, was she to die now, was this the end.
"It's me, your safe now." Lana instantly recognised Jamie beautiful face, she was so happy to see him.
"Jamie what are you doing down here." Lana asked hugging herself, they didn't give her blankets and it was icy weather.
"I'm getting you out of here, I'm taking you somewhere safe." Jamie said seriously.
Before she could answer, tyrion appeared carrying a bunch of brass keys.
"Here, I think it that one, I recognise it from when I was in here." He passed the keys to Jamie who successfully unlatched the cell door.
"Jamie." Lana leaped forward, throwing her arms around him, he hugged her back, kissing her head.
"Iv missed you so much." He kissed her on her awaiting lips.
"Ouch." Lana clutched he stomach painfully,
"What is it, the wound, has it festered?" He asked, lifting her dress.
The wound had gone bad, it wasn't hideous but lana needed immediate help.
"We will find a maester on our way north, there will be some on the kings road that we can pay to keep quiet about you." Jamie said, he took a long black cloak from beside him and wrapped it around Lana's slim shoulders.
"Come on Jamie, you need to get her out of here." Tyrion urged looking around.
"Ok let's go my love." He lifted her to her feet and linked her arm, leading her down the winding staircase.
"Now I have got the horse outside, on the back of her I have put in enough food for a few weeks, there is also money, clothes and wine." Tyrion said, leading the way.
"Thank you brother, I will never forget this." Jamie said still clutching Lana's hand.
Outside, the horse was waiting, it was a large black one that definitely looked strong enough for both of them.
"Brother this is it, I will never forget what you have done for us." Jamie bent and embraced his brother.
"Thank you tyrion." Lana kissed him and hugged him. She could never forget what he did for her.
"Look after her Jamie." Tyrion called as Jamie jumped on the saddle, lana waved as Tyron ran back to the red keep.
Jamie reached down and lifted lana onto the horse so she was infront of him. He was shocked at how thin she had become, she was so fragile.
"Let's go, I got you." Jamie grabbed the reins and kicked the horse into moving. Lana just leaned back, her whole weight rested on him but she trusted him completely. She closed her eyes and slept.
