Jamie was right about the climb. It was hard, he lost four men on the first night up and 3 on the second. At one point even lana got into difficulty. On the third night, the weather became treacherous, snow came down heavily and stung their eyes. Lana's horse reared up and nearly threw her off over the edge if it wasn't for Jamie who grabbed her before she fell. Then on the fifth night after much pain and hard work they reached the top.

"We did it." Jamie whispered in her ear as they arrived outside the gates met by lady Lysa's men.

"Who are you lot." A short, fat man asked looking at the men and eyeing lana flirtatiously.

"I am Jamie lannister, this here is my army and the lovely lana snow. I have business with your lady Lysa, are you going to let us in or not?" Jamie asked.

"Come on, only you and the girl, the rest of you will have to wait outside." He ordered.

"Fine, lady lana?" Jamie held out his arm for her to take, lana thought about it for a moment before relenting and walking in with him arm in arm.

The huge room was totally silent as they came in. Jamie was his usual smug self as he walked in with his gold hair and scratch less armour. Lana followed beside him, her hair was wind swept but she was still beautiful with her pale skin and striking figure.

Lysa sat in front of them on her very own throne, it was a tall throne as if to show her superiority over the commoners. Next to her was her young son lord tomaz and her guard. Tyrion and catelyn were missing.

"Kingslayer, lady lana stark, so kind of you to join us all the way up here at the eyrie." Lysa announced looking down at them.

Jamie smiled and then looked round wearily at her guards.

"You look as beautiful as ever lysa." He said still beaming falsely.

"You are too kind." She didn't smile this time.

Lysa looked behind him at lana and sadness pained her heart, she felt pity for this beautiful girl who her sister could never love.

"You are my niece by marriage lana, no harm will come to you. However I cannot promise the same for him." She glared at Jaime who was still looking for his brother in the crowd.

Lana stepped forward towards lysa.

"I know this is the first time we have met but if you do care for me at all then please just listen to what he has to say, please." Lana's beautiful face made lysa relent to her wishes.

" fine, I suppose you have come for your brother, the little murdering imp." She said bitterly

"Lady lysa i am sure my brother hasn't committed murder, he could never do such a thing." Jamie reasoned.

"Oh he could and he has, he killed my husband and nearly killed my nephew" she spat.

"Please if you are to accuse him of these things, let him at least come out here and speak up for himself." Jamie asked.

Moments later a huge man that reminded lana of a scarier hodor thew tyrion into the room before lysa, who looked down at him disgustedly.

Tyrion got to his feet immediately brushing the dust from his clothes.

He looked at his brother Jaime and smiled, lana could tell he wanted to run and hug him but he could not do it here.

He looked at lana and smiled also, the last time he saw her was in winterfell and she had somehow got even prettier to him.

"Will you confess now, imp." Lysa said, her voice full of contempt.

"I never killed your husband lysa, and I didn't try to kill your sisters child. I am many things but I am not a murderer." He sounded so honest that even lysa paused for a moment.

"Even If I believe you I can't just let you go." She said.

"Please, I truly believe he had no part in this. Please lysa."lana said. Tyrion was not sure why she wanted to help him so much or why she seemed to have a loyalty to Jaimie.

Lysa blinked and looked at people. She looked at lana and her sweet face.

"Fine, get him out of here before I change my mind." Lysa dismissed then immediately.

Lana walked over to lysa and suddenly threw her arms around her. She was shocked at first but then she relaxed in her arms.

"Thank you." Lana pulled away and began to walk off.

Lysa grabbed her hand loosely.

"Im sorry for how my sister treated you but remember you are always welcome here. And do not trust Jamie lannister." Lysa dropped her arm and lana continued towards the door.

"Awwww, flat ground at last, marvellous." Tyrion announced from his horse.

Jaime, tyrion, lana and Jamie's men were finally away from the eyrie and going through the many fields that surrounded it.

"I should think its a welcome relief from the sky cells." Jamie jested.

"Oh I have missed your humour brother." Tyrion replied.

Lana had been quiet for the whole journey, all she could think about was what lysa had said to her.

"Lana, can I have a minute." Tyrion called her over when Jamie had ridden to the front of the army.

Lana nodded to him.

"What did lysa say to you, I can see it has been troubling you." His eyes looked concerned.

"Nothing, she just... She apologised for how Caitlyn treated me that's all." Lana lied

"Is that all she said?" He asked

Lana didn't answer him.

"You can confide in me lana, I may be a dwarf but I am a trustworthy one."

Lana laughed tucking her hair behind her ear. Tyrion couldn't help noticing how beautiful she was.

"She told me not to trust your brother." Lana confessed.

"Do you trust him?"

"I don't know, he saved me but he kidnapped me." She said

"Trust him until he does something to make you think otherwise." He said

"You won't tell him will you." Lana asked

"Your secret Is safe with me." He tapped his nose and trotted off on his horse.

"Are we going to camp soon?" Lana called to Jamie from her horse, the sky was darkening and her whole body ached.

"Soon." Jamie called back.

"Tyrion you don't suppose there are any wild folk in theese woods?" Jamie asked his brother who looked more tired than any of them.

"I'm not sure." He replied, rubbing his tired eyes.

"HOLT." A loud shout came from the front of the group, lana was in the middle and rolled her eyes as her mare came to a standstill.

"For the love of gods, are we actually gonna be able to sleep tonight." She said to nobody in particular.

"ATTACK." The next shout came and the sound of metal on metal. Men came from all directions of the dense forest carrying crudely made weapons and shields. Lana completely froze, she was shaking and all she could hear was men screaming and shouting.

"Lana move, now. Come on." A voice sounded in her ear and brought her to her senses. Jamie was in front of her on his horse, he had a thin line of blood trickling down the left side of his perfect face.

He grabbed her arm and tried to pull her to safety. There was no safe place to go though.

Lana made her horse go as fast as she could but even so it was so scared that it reared up and threw her to the floor. She landed on her front, she felt like her knee had been shattered from the impact. Lana had lost sight of Jamie, she pushed herself up from the dirt and stood shakily. Lana was about to run into the woods when a sharp stabbing pain engulfed her. She looked down and blood covered her dress. She had been stabbed. Lana clutched her stomach and tried to run but she couldn't, she could feel herself loosing consciousness. When lana reached a tree stump she collapsed there, she let her heavy eyes close and darkness take over.
