I keep the surprise off my face as I let him go down with me to the basement. I spend the next three hours making sure all the blood is completely gone and untraceable before taking a break. Jin is nowhere to be found so I open the door to the girl's room to see him asleep on her cold hard chest.
Without a word, I pick him up and strip him clean, wiping him off again before tucking him into his bed upstairs. I walk back down to dispose of the body. She was pretty-not as pretty as my little patient, however. Her screams weren't nearly as sweet, either.
I drag her onto the specialized metal table I keep and begin cutting her up into small enough pieces to fit her in a few large trash bags. I then throw the bags into my furnace-my whole reason for buying this house-and light it up. I watch the plastic and body parts burn for a while before triple checking all my bases for anything missed.
I shower one more time before slipping into my own bed to get a couple hours of sleep before work.

      "Dr. Kim."
I smile as Park Jimin runs up to me in the quiet hallway to hand me a children's book. I frown down in surprise until I open it to see Jin's file. I peak up at the kid, quite impressed with his quick thinking.
"Thank you. You still want to go?" I ask calmly as I flip through the ten pages. Interesting. I'll definitely spend most of my time on this.
He looks down at the ground for a long minute before meeting my eyes with determination. "Yes."
I nod. "Okay then. I'll come and get you when I have the chance. Remember what I told you-do not tell anyone about this." I say sternly.
He smiles. "Who would I even tell?" Smart ass.
Smirking, I send him off on his way while I head into my office. Poor kid doesn't know what he's getting into...then again...as I look through these files Jimin has already seen. Maybe he does know. I guess when you have nothing to live for what does it matter making a crazy psycho your best friend. And it's apparent Kim Seokjin has a lot of psychotic issues to be addressed.
On the first three pages I find much of what I already know about him but as I flip to the fourth...I pause. Bingo.

Date: July 28, 2002
Patient Age: 10
Patient is exhibiting a mixture of comatose and aggressive behavior. Tries to injure himself as well as all staff. Needs to be put on extreme doses of anti-psychotics as well as anti-depressants and mood stabilizers. Will need to be held in isolation.

Date: August 15, 2002
Patient attacked an orderly as well as another patient. His medication will be upped to see improvement. Will keep a strict eye on him. Will permanently be held in isolation. A danger to himself and other patients.

Date: October 31, 2002
Patient has finally acclimated to his medications and has become very manageable. He no longer hurts himself or threatens other patients and staff. An experimental treatment will be given and tested.

I frown as I see the next entries have been skipped years down the road.

Date: February 3, 2007
Patient Age: 15
Patient has bonded with another patient. His temperament is very good but he still seems to be stuck in the age he was admitted. Questionable if experimental drug is the cause. Will not stop the treatment to be sure. He is no longer a danger.

Date: December 24, 2012
Patient Age: 20
Patient has become very well mannered and still clings to other patient. Plays well with other children ages 10 and younger. Doesn't take direction well and does not easily take his medication. No further issues at this moment.

Date: July 15, 2015
Patient Age: 23
Patient has no change in mental capabilities beyond when he was first admitted over ten years prior. Will continue to watch as he takes depression spells but for the most part remains a non danger to others. He has become clingy to some staff and some other patients. Experimental drug has seemed to succeed besides the age regression. Perhaps by lowering the dose he will begin to grow mentally once more but not willing to take the chance of his becoming a danger once more.

That's the last entry by Dr. Min. Perhaps I should track him down and ask him about his former patient. Or would that be suspicious after his disappearance. All other patients think Kim Seokjin was moved to another hospital while all the staff believe he found a way out and just left. He was far over the age of 18 to leave but with his mind as a child they believed it not possible for him to want to leave.
Convenient for me, at least. I'm assuming Park Jimin is the patient he became attached to. Maybe with his friend around and his medications he'll return to how he was...but an increasingly curious part of me what's to let this just go on and see how it plays out. I want to see what Kim Seokjin can really do, can really be.
Every time I look him in the eye, I see that deep dark part of him just begging to come out. I'm just crazy enough to bring it out of him and let him free. Perhaps I'll meet my match. Perhaps I'll find a partner in crime to keep my interest. Perhaps I won't end up killing him and instead make him an assistant of sorts. I rather like that idea.
