Chapter 31

Anna's POV

I get a phone call from Ashley.

This late at night?

I wake up and rub my eyes before answering

"Hello?" I say questioning.

"ANNA EMILY SHE-SHE'S BEEN KIDNAPPED BY THE GIRL I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO CALUM JUST CALLED AND TOLD ME." She screams in my ear.

"What! Where are you? Have you called the others?"

"I'm at Emily's and Calums and no I'm about to." She says starting to sob.

"It's gonna be okay Ashley, Emily is in God's hands, he's looking out for her." I say trying to calm her down.

"BUT WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF SHE DOES DIE I CANNOT LOSE HER I LOVE HER SO MUCH." She half screams half sobs out.

"Look, calm down, I'll be right over and we are going to get this person, okay? I'll be there in a minute." I scurry out of bed running putting on some leggings and a t shirt slipping on a pair of Uggs then grabbing a jacket.

I run to my car and start it up. I'm only 3 blocks down from Emily's so I should get there quick.

When I finally get there, Morgan, Mackenzie, Ashley, Niall, and Luke are all there sitting with Calum.

Once I get there I get up and hug everyone. We all love each other and if we lost one another, we would die ourselves. 

After ten minutes of pacing and stress going on, the police finally show up.

"Where have you been officer?" I say trying not to sound sassy.

"We have a lot of calls." He replies with.

"Oh, really? The past 20 minutes I drove and sat here I havn't even seen a single soul walking anywhere or any cars even pass by."

He gives me a glance, kind of a warning.

"Besides aren't you suppose to be working on catching this person. It's been a month now and you haven't even gotten at least two suspects." Niall says.

"Mr. Horan I hope you know you're one of them." He eyes him up and down.

"Why would I even touch a hair on anybody here?" 

"Well according to an eye witness you are really the center of this."

The rain beats harder and harder against the ground.

"You all need to come to the police station with us so we can discuss this and figure this all out."

At the police station 

We all get put into seperate rooms with different officers.

"Anna, what are your thoughts on Niall Horan?" The nice person asks.

"Honestly I think he's trouble, ever since he met Ashley our friends are dieing. But he's not the only one doing this someone else has to."

"So you think Mr. Horan is a part of this?"

"Yes, it makes total sense, ever since Ashley met him, two people died, two people got kidnapped, one got attacked. A nurse died and I have plenty more cases. But if you notice, he's usually the latest one when we're at a hospital visiting friends or something." I say.

The woman writes every thing down.

"That's all I needed. But who else do you think is doing this?"

I have to sit and think for a second before I answer.

"Mackenzie. She just, gives me a weird vibe sometimes. She had red stains on her a couple of weeks ago right after a two crime scenes."

I can't believe I just put my friend up as a suspect. Oh my gosh. What have I done?
