"I didn't know you were gay." Bella tried to make conversation as Jughead led her to the trailer.

"I'm not."

"But you're dating Archie?"

"I'm not dating Archie." Jughead laughed.

"So then he's single?"

"Yup."

"So I can ask him out?"

"Go for it."

"Huh, guess you don't like him like that then." Bella sighed.

"What about you? When did you break up with Kyle?"

"We lasted for a year until I found out he was cheating on me with two other girls. Ever since then I haven't dated much." Bella admitted.

"Karma' a bitch, sort of like you." Jughead smirked, earning a roll of the eyes from Bella.

"Have you dated anyone since?"

"No, you destroyed me. I don't let people get close to me anymore. I don't even talk to anyone. Archie is the exception."

"Look, I'm sorry about that."

"Okay, that still isn't going to make me hate you any less."

"Fine. Then why is Archie the exception?" Bella sighed.

"Because I had been talking to him on Tumblr for a while not knowing it was him, and then we found out that we went to the same school and connected in real life." Jughead lied slightly.

"That's cute. I'm glad you have friends here." She smiled. The two walked in silence for the rest of the walk until Jughead made it to the doorstep of his trailer and plastered on a fake smile.

"Welcome to my humble abode. Since I have the incapacity to be a complete asshole, you will be taking my room and I'll be taking the couch." Jughead said with mock enthusiasm before opening the door and walking inside.

"No, we're sleeping together because I'm not going to deprive you of your bed." Bella said once again, making Jughead shake his head.

"Jug? Who was that? It sounded like Bell-" jelly Bean began as she walked into the main living area and laid eyes on the beautiful girl beside her brother. "Did Bella die? Why is her ghost haunting you?" Jelly Bean gasped.

"Nope, she's alive and staying with us for a month because good old dad wants us together." Jughead sighed. "Please be good. No pranks, sabotage, tricks, or violence of any kind." He warned.

"Or what?"

"You know how much blackmail I have on you?"

"Fine, but I'm not gonna be nice to that thing." Jelly Bean said with disgust after making eye contact with Bella again.

"Once upon a time we used to be like best friends." Bella laughed sadly.

"Once upon a time I thought you cared about my brother." She spat.

"Alright, obviously you two are going to make my stay here miserable so I'm just going to go to sleep." Bella frowned.

"First bedroom on the right." Jughead waved absentmindedly before grabbing Jelly Bean's hand and her pulling her to the couch.

"Goodnight."

With that, Bella left and Jughead was left to sit on the couch and stare at Jelly Bean with a look that said it all.

He wasn't ready to see her.

It was two years ago, but he was just finally recovering from her. He was finally opening himself up to Archie and he was finally happy. He wasn't even sure how to feel now that she's here. He'll be honest. Looking at her hurt. But he wasn't expecting it to hurt as much as it was.
