It's been a week.
Jughead was still missing in action.
Despite never getting a text back, Archie continued to message on ASongInDistress everyday. He never spammed the boy, but most nights it was a simple "I hope you're okay and safe" before the redhead dozed off to sleep. He was so used to staying up late because of Jughead, that the messed up sleep schedule just became his everyday routine.
Archie was currently sat in his history class, lost in his thoughts that pertained to anything but the green revolution and how it affected Mexico, when his phone vibrated softly against his thigh. He sat up suddenly, eyebrows furrowed in confusion at the sensation due to its rare appearance. He then looked around cautiously, eyeing the teacher discreetly as he pulled out his phone, placed in under the desk, and quickly scanned the message.
Unknown Number: hey Archie, it's Jughead, I sit next to you in history. You already know that but Ik this is maybe way too much to ask you but can you go to some of my teachers and ask for all the work I missed? You don't have to go to all of them Ik that's asking a lot. And if you could bring it to my house id really appreciate it but only if you're not busy or anything.
Archie practically awwed at that message out loud, a goofy grin spreading across his face because Jughead is the most awkward adorable little thing.
The Florist: Np just text me your schedule and your address and I'll meet you after school
"What's so amusing that happens to be in your lap Mr. Andrews?" His teacher asked passive aggressively with an evil smirk in their eye.
Archie blushed fiercely, all eyes immediately landing on him as their teacher stood right behind the redhead who hadn't noticed the close intrusion. "Nothing." He mumbled embarrassingly.
"Then perhaps you wouldn't mind if I read the texts on the phone that are obviously more attention grabbing than my lesson?"
Archie mentally rolled his eyes at that. His teacher was simply putting on a show for the rest of the class now.
"Sure, go ahead." He smiled before handing her his phone gently as she frowned at his willingness to give it up so quickly.
"Hey Archie, its Jughead, I sit next to you in history..." she started, but then stopped as her eyes scanned over the rest of the innocent and rather normal message about school.
Archie watched her with a smirk as the rest of the class began mumbling about the possible reasons why Jughead got to have Archie's number.
"See me after class, I'll have the work ready." She sighed defeatedly before passing his phone back and resuming her boring lesson at the front of the classroom again.

The florist: I got all of your work I'm headed over now...
The florist: but actually I was wondering...
The florist: after I drop it off we can still hang out? We can go to pop's or something
The florist: only if you're up for it ofc. You had to be out for a long time for a reason.
Beautiful💕: okay yeah actually we can do that :)
The florist: okay I'll be there in like ten mins

Archie now stood a few feet away in front of a simple white trailer, feeling nervous. He wasn't sure why exactly, I mean, it was just two dudes casually hanging out who are assumed straight but really aren't.
