"He's been acting kind of weird lately ever since that bitch popped up." Archie frowned. He was at Betty house, sprawled out on her bed as she sat on the floor doing homework.

"You think he still has feelings for her?" She asked carelessly.

"Wha- no. No! He couldn't. She broke his heart into pieces. She's the reason he moved here." Archie said defensively, starting to get flustered.

A silence surrounded the two as Betty shook her head. She just didn't understand why someone would go through all that trouble for a stupid boy. It doesn't make sense to her, and she was tired of Archie coming to her and blowing the tiniest things out of proportion when it comes to stupid Jughead. She wished they could go back to how they were before when they just talked about anything and actually hung out for the fun of it.

Archie never seemed to ask what's going on with Betty. It was always Jughead, Jughead, Jughead. Juggy did this today, Juggy did that today, I want Juggy to fuck my ass open.

It was tiring.

"But they have been friendlier lately." Archie admitted after some time.

"Archie. It's probably nothing. Stop shitting yourself over it." She said harshly.

"What's your problem?" He snapped back, seriously sounding offended.

"Nothing." She seethed, going back to her physics textbook.

"It's clearly something." He pressed.

"I'm just tired of hearing about Jughead. I don't even like the guy." She huffed, angrily turning the page.

"Are you jealous or something?" He asked softly, getting off the bed and laying down next to Betty.

"Why would I be jealous?"

"You hate when I talk about Jughead. I just, I don't know..." he hesitated, not having the courage to say what he actually wants to say.

"It's just. You know I'm gay right, I mean I just can't have feelings for you-" Archie began.

"Archibald. Check your fucking ego. I don't have feelings for you, I know full and well you're a needy bottom. I'm just mad because I feel like our friendship is one sided. I mean, we've never really been officially friends. But we are, aren't we? That's what I've come to see you as but you never ask how the fuck I'm doing. I have problems too Archie! Do you even know what's going on in my life or anything about me? You don't. You don't bother to ask." She yelled.

"I do." Archie insisted, but he knew deep down that everything she said was right.

"Alright, then what's my favorite color?"

"Uhh blue?"

"No."

"Red?"

"No."

"Purple?"

"No."

"Gre-"

"Leave." Betty sighed.

"Betty I-"

"Go." She says quietly, pointing towards the door. Archie did as he was told, but couldn't help but to turn around once he stepped outside her room.

"I'll call you tomorrow okay? I know I'm a shitty friend but I'm going to make it up to you." He promised. Betty nods.

"It's pink by the way." She said lastly before closing the door.

"- and now she's mad at me." Archie huffed, laying in Jughead's arms comfortably as the raven haired beauty scrolled on his phone. They were sprawled out on the latter's bed. Jughead had not been able to sleep in his own bed for almost a week now but Bella finally made some friends and wasn't there to occupy it for once. That being said, Archie was secretly happy that Jughead was using the only free time he's had with his bed on him instead of just going to sleep.
