This little child in me is making me too sick to move, but I can't be missing anymore classes. I already missed like a week worth of school.
I got up and walked over to my closest. I picked out a grey hoodie and some black leggings. I threw on my superstars and ran downstairs to eat something before I left. Food is all I need right now.
"Good morning mom!" I said with a smile plastered on my tanned face. My mother was making herself some coffee while she was in her housecoat and slippers.
"Good morning my love," my mom smiled, placing pancakes in front of me. "I forgot to make you pancakes that one time, so here."
"You're the best!" I grinned, eating the pancakes like I haven't ate since the dinosaur era. Hailee walked into the kitchen looking tired and dead. Her shoulders were slouched and her hair was up messily.
"Good morning little sis," I chuckled softly at her appearance. She is definitely not a morning person.
"Why is that even a saying?!! Mornings are not good! They suck! Except for Christmas mornings," she replied, sitting down next to me. She had a bowl of cereal and a glass of orange juice in front of her.
"Depends on the day," I shrug, eating more of my food, stealing her orange juice.
"Hey! What the hell, Myra!" Hailee yelled, trying to grab the orange juice that was pressed against my lips. I handed the empty glass to her with a wink.
"Okay, I'm off to school!" I exclaimed, skipping out the front door with my bag on my back.
"Have fun!" my mom yelled from the kitchen. How is school fun?
When I got to the school, everyone was whispering and pointing at me. Well, I guess I should be used to it by now, but I'm really not.
"Hey, little one," Xander came walking up, wrapping his arm around my waist.
"Um, hi?" I looked at him really confused.
"Is Xander really going to let Myra Jenson keep their baby?" a girl whispered to her friend.
"They know..that you're the father?" I asked shocked.
"Yeah.." he chuckled awkwardly.
"Who told them?" I asked, looking at him as we walked towards my locker.
"I did," he looked at me with a slight smile.
"You did??" I was in complete shock. "But why??"
"Someone has to know where the good looks come from," he smirked, stopping in front of my locker.
"You're such an idiot," I rolled my eyes, opening my locker. "Anything else I need to know?"
"Hmm..that I'm the best looking in the world," he smiled showing his dimples. Oh my god, when did he have dimples?! Well, the little girl in my dream did have adorable dimples..oh god. That dream still scares me.
"That is definitely not true," I laughed, grabbing my stuff for my gym class. He gasped dramatically, placing his hand on his heart.
"You're so mean!" he pouted like a little kid. "Take it back."
"I will as soon as you prove to me that you'll be here for the baby," I smirked, shutting my locker. "See you later, loser!"
I blew a kiss in his direction, walking to the change rooms.
"M!!" Cami jumped up and hugged me as I walked into the change rooms.
"Hey, Cami!" I grinned, hugging her tightly. "Where the hell have you been?"
"I could be asking you the same question," she rolled her eyes. Cami was already changed for gym class so that means I have to hurry the fuck up.
"Okay, I got to change," I told her, running to the bathroom stalls to change. By the time I was done changing, the second bell went off. I ran to the gym, standing beside Cami.
Mr. Marshall told us that the boys will be playing football and us girls will have to do some gymnastic shit. I can only do a cartwheel! The hell? My baby will be dizzy as hell. Maybe I should sit out?
The boys went outside to the football field with Mr. Marshall while the girl gym teacher, Miss. Page, stayed with us.
"Okay girls, we have to stretch before doing anything that could potentially pull a muscle," Miss. Page told us. Well, I'll do whatever I can.
We began stretching and holy hell it felt good. I was in the middle of another stretch when Miss. Page called my name.
"Huh?" I looked up at her.
"You are dismissed from class," she smiled slightly. What the heck. Why?
"Oh, alright," I stood up, walking towards the change rooms. I quickly changed, walking towards my locker.
"I see my note worked," a male voice said behind me. I turned around to look at Xander.
"Yeah, it did," I shrugged, "so why did you want me out of class?"
"It's a surprise," he smiled. "Bring all your stuff because I don't think you are coming back today."
"Why though? I already missed a week," I frowned.
"I'll get Cami to get your assignments," he replied. "But hurry!"
"Okay, okay chill," I grabbed my bags and books and shut my locker behind me. I followed Xander to his truck and hopped in.
He backed out of the schools parking lot and drove down familiar roads towards my house.
"Why are we going towards my house?" I asked, looking at him.
"You'll see," he grinned, pulling up to my house. He got out of his truck, running over to my side, opening the door for me.
"Uh, thanks?" I said, trying to hop out. He grabbed my hand, helping me out of his tall truck. I walked towards my house, opening the front door.
"Okay, so close your eyes," he ordered. I placed my hands over my eyes, slightly scared for what was coming. A pair of hands were placed on my shoulders, leading my towards the destination. My heart was pounding from fright and my hands were shaking. This better not end up horribly wrong.
I was lead up stairs, almost tripping on every step. Xander just laughed at me and it got me mad.
"You try walking up the stairs with hands over your eyes!"
"Okay, open them!" he told me. I let my hands drop and in front of me was our guest room which was now a nursery. There was a crib by the far wall and their was dressers. Everything was dark wood and the room was painted a cute yellow.
"Oh my god.." I gasp, placing my hand over my mouth in shock. "When did you do this?"
"Your mom helped me, but when you were gone doing something, your mom and I painted it. Then Cami was in on it too, but she was hard to get in on it. She gave me a lot of shit..but yeah! Then we placed the furniture that I bought and now there is a nursery for OUR child," he explained, looking at me.
"What are you doing, Crawford?"
"I'm proving it."
