Tied in a Knot

I woke up in a dark room and while I laid there unable to move, flashbacks of what happened came flooding back. My body was going through pain and my mouth was taped shut. What was I supposed to do?! I'm having contractions!

"What should we do with her, boss?" A familiar voice asked outside of the dark room.

"Well, she's a little early so I'm not fucking sure, you idiot!" a deep voice yelled at the other voice. I cried to myself softly as I laid there in pain. I'm gonna die. I'm not ever going to see my baby, am I?

"Go in there and drug her more so she's out for longer. I need to figure out what I'm gonna do," the deeper voice ordered. I pulled at the ropes holding me down, trying to scream for my life, but it was muffled by the tape. Please god, save me!

The door creaked open and Julian walked in, turning on the lights. I looked at him and started thrashing around to get away from him. He walked towards me with a smirk and looked down at me struggling.

"Poor Myra," he sighed, dragging his finger down my cheek. I glared at him and tried moving away by turning my head. "Stop being a bitch and look at me!"

He pulled my head in the direction of where he was and he was glaring at me. I whimpered, pleading for him to let me go.

"Seems like this baby is coming sooner than I planned," he chuckled, placing his hand on my stomach. I started screaming again to get his hand off my stomach, but it did nothing besides sound muffled. Tears started falling from my eyes as I laid there with Julian's hands all over me.

"Goodnight, Myra," Julian whispered in my ear. I gasped as I felt a sharp injection on my thigh again. "Sleep tight."

~~~
"What do you want me to do?" a voice asked, waking me up from my deep sleep. The voices were talking outside the room again and I was still tied up. My stomach was hurting and my mouth was dry. The contractions were starting to hit me again and I had no where to go.
"Go get Cece," the guy who I recognized as the boss.
"On it."
The door whipped open and a man I thought I saw before walked in.
"Hello again, Myra," the man spoke, putting on some rubber gloves. "I hope you remember me."
I laid there in my own sweat in pain. I couldn't tell who the man really was because my vision was blurry and I felt like I was slowly dying.
"Here have a glass of water," he said with a cup of water in his hand. He ripped off the tape on my mouth, making me wince in pain. I tried to speak, but since my throat was dry, I couldn't say anything. The blurry man, put the cup to my lips and I gulped down the substance.
"Who are you," I croaked, laying my head back exhausted. "What do you want from me?"
"You don't recognize me do you?" he said, chuckling. His voice was deep and cold. There was no emotion in his voice. Just a cold hearted man. I shook my head no to his question. "I'm Derik."
"Derik," I repeated. That name sounded familiar, but I couldn't match the name to a face.
"Yes, the guy who protected you from that perverted guy," he told me, sitting down on a chair next to the bed. "The guy you met on the street."
"I barely know you!" I exclaimed, coughing my lungs out. "We met once.."
"I just want the baby, that's all," he said, placing his filthy hands on my stomach. "It's a boy right?"
"Get your hands off me!" I said through gritted teeth.
"That's funny because I'm the only one who is supposed to give the orders!" he growled, slapping me on the cheek. I cried in pain at the stinging on my cheek.
"I hope you lay here in complete silence and hunger waiting for someone to save you, but the truth is no one noticed your gone," he laughed, walking out of the room and slamming the door on his way out. My sobs broke out and I screamed and screamed, but no one could hear me.
"PLEASE SAVE ME!" I yelled trying to break free. Of course, the door just stayed closed for hours.
~~~

"Xander!" I giggled, jumping on his back. Xander laughed, spinning around in a circle. We both laughed and I jumped off his back.

Xander turned around and looked at me with a smile on his face, "You're beautiful."

"You are not so bad yourself, Crawford," I smirked. We stared at each other for a little while longer in our own moment, before I felt a tug on my summer dress.

"Mama," a young girl said, grinning up at me.

"Yes?" I kneeled down to her height. She grabbed a piece of my curled hair and giggled.

"You're pretty," she said.

"So are you," I poked her nose.

"Mama, you know you will be okay, right?" she told me.

"What do you mean?" I asked, looking at Xander confused, but Xander looked frozen in place.

"You will be safe, mommy," she told me again, poking my cheek. "Daddy will save you."

"Save me from what?" I questioned.

"Derik."

~~~
I woke up in a sweat, panting. The door was still closed and I was still staring at the ceiling. The door opened and Julian walked back in.
"I see you had a nice nap," he said, while taking a seat next to me. "I think I found someone you can talk to."
I looked at him confused, but before I can say anything, a dark haired girl walked into the room. She stopped in her tracks and looked at me in shock.
"Camila?" I gasped.
"Myra?"
