"Oh my god, Myra you look gorgeous!" Cami squealed, jumping up and down. Cami wore a beautiful red dress, while I wore a light blue one. Our hair was curled and we had some makeup on. Cami of course had a smokey eye look, but I had a peachy eye look. We looked great, even if it was a simple look.
"So do you!" I complimented back. We both walked downstairs to find our dates for the dance sitting on the couch. Grayson actually asked Cami to go to the dance with him and she never even told me!
"Wow," they both said in unison as we walked down the stairs. Their mouths hung open in shock, which I don't know why because we are hot even when we aren't dressed up.
"Okay, less staring and more walking," Cami told them while walking to the front door. We all got into Xander's black truck and drove off to the school. I was in the passenger seat while the other two were in the back of the truck talking.
"You look really beautiful," Xander told me while he drove. I looked out the window to hide my blush because no way in hell am I gonna show him that I'm blushing.
"Thanks," I mumbled as I watched the different houses go by.
"Your blush is pretty cute too," he told me and I gasped looking at him.
"How do you know?" I asked in complete shock.
"Side view mirrors, babe," he smirked. "I thought you would know that considering you drive too."
"Oh shut up," I glared, looking back out the window. Xander and I stopped talking, but the two in the back never stopped.
"Hey, what kind of tea is hard to swallow?" Grayson asked us.
"I don't know what?" I replied.
"REALITY!" he exclaimed and started laughing.
"What do you call a bad joke teller?" Cami asked. "A Grayson."
"HA. HA." Grayson stuck his tongue out at Cami. "My joke was better than yours because your joke made no sense."
"Okay, we're here," Xander told us after rolling his eyes at the two in the back. We all got out of the truck and headed towards the school. This should be interesting.
As we walked into the dance, everyone stared at us as we walked in. Like I'm not even joking!
"Wow, is that Myra Jenson?" I heard someone whisper. I shrugged it off and began to walk through the crowds of people.
"Want to dance?" Xander asked, leaning down to ask in my ear, since the music was loud.
"Uh, sure!" I replied. Xander dragged me to where everyone was dancing. Of course, as soon as we got there, a slow song had to come on.
I wrapped my arounds around his neck awkwardly and he wrapped his around my waist. We swayed back and forth to the song Perfect by Ed Sheeran. It's actually one of my favourite songs, but he doesn't have to know that.
"I can't tell you how much I want to kiss you right now," Xander whispered, looking down to my lips.
"Hold on pretty boy," I told him, stepping back slightly. "I think I'm going to use the washroom. I'll be right back."
I started walking away from him and towards the bathrooms. My heart was still pounding from being near Xander and I don't know if that's in a good way or a bad way..
After doing my business, I walked out of the gross bathrooms and back to the dance. I searched for Xander, but couldn't find him anywhere.
"Well you look gorgeous," a voice spoke behind me. A voice I recognized I might add. I turn to come face to face with Julian. The cheating scumbag.
