"Cami! Hurry up and let's go!" I groaned, banging on her bathroom door. "I'm not going to be late for my classes anymore!"

"Alright, alright," Cami mumbled as she walked out of the bathroom. "Chill, I just needed to put on my makeup and curl my hair."

"Just?" I raised my brow at her. "Wow, C."

"What??" She laughed softly, checking herself out in front of the mirror.

"Nothing, let's go."

~~~
We both walked into the school laughing about a kid who slipped on ice outside of the school. It was great by the way.
"Where is everyone heading?" Cami asked, watching a ton of teenagers rushing towards the gym.
"I'm not sure," I replied. "We should follow them. Probably some meeting?"
Cami and I walked with some other teenagers towards the gym. When we got inside, it was packed with sweaty and gross teens. I'm actually gagging.
"Uh..um..excuse me," a teacher said into the microphone on the stage. "QUIET!"
Everyone shut up and turned their attention to the teacher speaking.
"Our principal could not be here to deliver this message today, but your winter formal will be taking place on Saturday, December 16th. You guys have this week of school to find your dates or whatever you kids wanna call it, but go crazy."
"Ew, I'm not going," I told Cami. "I hate dressing formal and I'll be alone."
"What the heck! Go with your baby daddy!" she squealed. I cringed at the name she gave for Xander and shook my head.
"uM, EXCUSE ME!" someone yelled, and I turned my attention towards the voice. Xander and his friends were on the stage now with the microphone.
"Since we get to bring a date, I want to ask a beautiful girl I know to go to the winter formal with me," Xander spoke into the microphone. My heart pounded and I started to get anxiety. He better not say my name.
"Oh my god, this is it, M!" Cami whisper yelled into my ear.
"Melody Collins, will you go with me to winter formal?"
My heart dropped, but I shouldn't let that bother me..right? He's just talking to me now because of the baby inside of me. It's not like he actually cares about me.
"Ouch, I thought he was going to ask you," Cami said to me.
Melody squealed in the crowd and yelled back a yes. I thought she was dating that hulky football player, but I guess she likes the attention? And more dick.
I fake smiled at the two who were now going as a couple for the dance. I'm pretty good at fake smiling. I do it all the time.
"Let's go, C," I told her. "This is a waste of time anyways."
~~~

"Hey, Myra," Xander smiled as he sat down next to me in the cafeteria. I looked at him and fake smiled again.

"Hey."

"Are you alright?" he asked. I nodded in response, suddenly feeling nauseous. I carefully pushed my food away from my face so I couldn't smell it.

"Hey M, do you need fresh air?" Camilla asked, worriedly. She stood up and sat down on my other side.

"I think I'm fine," I replied, gagging afterwards. "Nope, never mind."

Cami helped me up and walked me out of the cafeteria quickly so nobody saw us, but I'm pretty sure people did because Xander followed.

"Is she alright?!" Xander asked, jogging up to us.

"I think it's just food making me feel sick to my stomach," I shrugged, leaning against the lockers. "I don't want to walk anymore."

"I'll carry her outside for fresh air," Xander told Cami, picking me up like I weighed nothing.

"I don't want to throw up everything I ate on you, Xander," I whined. "Put me dowwnnn."

"No, you need fresh air," he said bluntly.

"Ew, Xander why are you carrying her?!" Melody came running down the hall.

"Because she's holding my baby, duh," he replied.

"Well, as your girlfriend, I want you to not be near her," Melody huffed, crossing her arms as she blocked our way to the exit. Girlfriend?

"Stop being that way, baby," he sighed, setting me down on the ground. I leaned up against the lockers, getting really dizzy and lightheaded.

"Being like what?!" she screeched, making my head throb harder. Oh my god, just shut up!

"Being like this!" Xander yelled frustrated.

"I just don't want to see the guy I'm with all over some other girl!" she argued.

"Oh my god!" I yelled, holding my head in my hands. "JUST SHUT UP MELODY! STOP BEING A PRISSY LITTLE PRINCESS AND SUCK IT UP!"

"Don't you dare speak to me like that again you slut," she said, crouching down to my level.

"Holy shit, Myra.." Xander muttered. Where's Cami? I thought she was just with us? Why isn't she beating this bitch up right now?

I laughed in Melody's face, "I'm the slut? Stop slut shaming, you bitch!"

"I'm not the one with a worthless baby in my stomach though," she chuckled. That's it. I grabbed Melody by her shirt and pulled her to me face. She slipped onto her knees and looked me in the eyes.

"Don't ever say shit about my baby. EVER!" I yelled in her face. "You hear me?!"

"Nope, I'm deaf from your yelling!" she yelled back.

"Dumb ass. You just replied to my question," I threw her to the floor in front of me. That's pretty great for sitting on the floor if you ask me.

"Dang Myra, where'd that come from?" Xander asked amused by the twinkle in his eyes.

"Ever since I got with your shitty ass at the party," I spat, standing up slowly.

"What did I do?!" he asked angrily. This bitch.

"You obviously got with the bitch who tried to hurt this innocent child in my womb AND called your baby worthless. I can't believe you didn't stick up for your child once."

"I didn't get the chance to because you went all psycho on her ass!" he yelled back.

"Yeah, maybe because I'm tired of you choosing other people and other things over our baby," I whispered, turning around feeling the overwhelming sickness hit me like a tidal wave. I walked towards the wall to hold myself up, but as soon as my hand touched the wall, my vision went blurry and I fell. I didn't feel an impact though, which may be a good sign, but maybe I just blacked out before I hit the ground.

Please let my baby be okay.
