An unexpected weather event had taken me and my crew in a completely different direction, and things were beginning to head for disaster. I had been placed on a research vessel to study a species of phytoplankton in the middle of the ocean, but a huge storm has caused the ship to loose all sense of direction, and the ocean is beating the boat black and blue.
"(y/n)! Get over here now!" I hear a crew member screech from behind, his voice breaking as he is at the brink of fear. I look in front and all I can see are waves, the boats rocking and it's beginning to make me dizzy and disorientated. I grab a hold of the side of the boat, clenching around the bar for dear life.
"(y/n) WATCH OUT!"
Before I can turn to face the scream a huge wave engulfs me and sends me flying off the boat, I am in the middle of a stormy ocean with nothing but a buoyancy aid guarding my life. I see a floating bit of debris which had obviously fallen off the boat at some point and clench on to it as tight as I can. I look around me and try and find the ship, but the ocean begins to take me away from my crew and leads me into a place of unknown. Behind the storm cloud appears to be coming to an end, the waves aren't throwing me around as much anymore and I begin to come around again after being thrown off a boat.
The storm begins to pass and the ocean decides to calm, the white caps on the waves dissolve into a smooth, mirror-like ocean and I am left on a floating bit of debris with nothing but a jacket on. At this point, I feel like I'm about to die on a floating piece of dump, but at the same time hopefully the debris will get caught by a current and take me to land. I look around and see a strange silhouette in the distance, an odd looking lump with some quirky structure on the top. I presume it's a giant piece of coagulated litter so I use what's left of my energy to paddle over to what looked like somewhere I could rest.
After paddling for so long, I soon figure that this isn't just a random lump of crap in the ocean, but it's a damn house floating in the middle of nowhere, a pretty nice house too. Me being me, concerned that this is owned by some sort of military organisation or a test dummy for some nuke take a lot of caution paddling up to the edge where I drag my self ashore. I feel weak, my head begins to spin to the point that my eyes roll back into my head and I collapse on the beach.
When I wake up, I realise that I am in a bed.
"Must of all been a dream!" I exhale. I lay back into the covers and bury my head into the pillow and sigh with relief. My peace is quickly disturbed by two people walking through the door. I jump up and use the covers to partially hide my face, I have no clue who's just walked through the door, and for all I know I could of been kidnapped.
"Y'awake miss?" A goofy voice says softly from behind the covers.
"She's been washed up to shore and she's only just woken up, don't be so blunt 2D!" A soft female voice responds to the last comment.
I peep my head above the covers and look at the two people who have walked through the door. The girl was cute, her dress was white and she had a mask keeping her hair pushed back. The man was tall, and had beautiful blue striking hair which two lifeless black eyes. I gathered up the courage and revealed my face, whilst doing so the tall blue haired man gave me a huge grin, and the girl also gave me a gentle warm smile.
"H...hello?" I peep from the covers.
"Miss there ain't nuffin to be scared of 'ere! We only brought you up 'ere because you were washed up on t'beach!" The tall blue haired man exclaimed.
"Who... are-" Nerves began to kick in and I once again lifted the cover up to my face, I felt terrified. These people aren't threatening at all but I have no clue where I am, what happened to my crew, I have no technology on me, and my clothes are completely ripped and are totally showing too much skin.
