Yesterday was difficult.

Yesterday really managed to tear me apart, I have finally made contact with my family, but I still feel so incomplete without them. After calling them, I now have a empty space inside of me and I can't seem to shove it away. I lay in bed, Murdoc snoring sweetly beside me, his arm laying across my waist, his face buried into the side of me. I play with his hair as I switch the TV on.

A story comes up, it's about the UK. Why does it hurt to see that? I stare at the TV, my heart feeling heavy... I want to go back, but I can't leave them. For fuck sake why does this have to be so bloody difficult. Murdoc fidgets as his eyes begin to widen.

"Mornin' luv." He whispers as he cuddles me.

"It's hardly morning Mudz, it's 1pm." I giggle as I stroke his black locks. This man's too good to me, never in my life have I met such a gentleman.

"Nevermind, shops are still open, all we gotta do is the shopping and then we load it into the crates on board. Then we can relax and have a nice evening together here. What do ya say?" He grinned at me.

"Let's get moving then." I reply.

The two of us get dressed and ready to go into town and do a huge haul of food shopping. Both of us ended up splitting up and going around the shops individually to make the process quicker. We said to meet in the town centre at 6pm sharp, so we had an hour to bring the food back to the boat and then we could go out and relax before a long journey back to the plastic beach.

I walk around the shops, picking up food in pretty much every bloody store. I have 4 huge bags on me, and it's getting really heavy now! I look at the time in the store, it's 5:50, so I decide to go and wait at the town centre for him. Luckily, the centre is right next to the docks considering it's a seaside town. I sit on a bench and rest my bags around me, taking a deep breath. Having almost 2 weeks on a boat makes you realise how busy and loud land is. I lean back, sighing as I do so, people watching whilst looking out for Murdoc. I suddenly see the beautiful black locks swaying side by side, his pronounced jawline and heart-melting smile coming my way. This man knocks me off my feet everytime.

"We got plenty for now, haven't we?" Murdoc asks, holding far too many bags.

"Sure, let's take them back to the boat, I am getting really hungry." I reply as I pick up my bags, heading over to the docks. Murdoc follows my lead to the boat. I drop my bags off beside the boat and jump on, opening the crates and taking the bags off Murdoc.

"You are clearly hungry." Murdoc smirks.

"Well, yeah, we missed breakfast and lunch because of our lie in, now my stomach wants something!" I sigh. "Yesterday was stressful I need to build up my energy again, sleep wasn't enough."

"I get it darlin' don't you worry mhmhph. We will go and eat as soon as we are done here." Murdoc smiles at me, causing my stomach to go tight.

I quickly load the crates on the boat, eager to get a meal into me. I jump off the boat after locking up the cabin, Murdoc takes my hand and holds it as we walk off the dock and into the town centre.

"What are you fancying then hmm?" Murdoc asks, stroking his thumb along my hand as he grips onto it.

"Anything cheap and cheerful, hate to know how much money has just come out of your pocket." I cringe at the thought.

Murdoc looks around the street, it is littered in flashy lights and signs to encourage customers into their restaurants. They all look appealing but none of them look cheap.

"Let's go around the seafront, I saw a nice looking place around there." Murdoc says. He turns towards the ocean and walks along the street, his expression is so relaxed, which makes me feel less guilty about my parents. We walk around the corner, the restaurants around here are all outdoor and a lot smaller and less crowded. Murdoc walks me into one of them, pulling out a seat for me to sit on. I take a seat and lean my arms on the table as Murdoc takes the seat opposite me. I stare at the ocean, wondering how long it would take me to sail home to the UK.
