I think I am warming up to you

Shit...

All I can say, is shit. I know exactly who's sitting on the end of the bed and what's worse is that I am dressed vulnerably and if this guy is the pervert that people claim he is then I'm in real trouble. I sit myself up on the bed and slowly turn to face whoever had just plonked themselves on the end of my bed. I looked into Murdocs eyes, displeased and uncomfortable and prepared to tell him to get out.

"I know what your gonna say. Get out, get out! Why the bollocks would I be here to do anything other than talk? You look like I'm a hungry predator who's about to swallow you in one chomp!" Chuckled Murdoc.

"Then why the hell are you in my room then?" I growled.

"Look, I'll be dead honest with you (y/n.) T'is nice to have some... new and fresh company on the Plastic Beach. Noodle, Faceache, Russ, they are all cracking individuals but I feel from time to time they get sick of an old rock and roll maniac like myself! You are a lass, and I do like a ladies company, gets a little lonely on this island."

I analyse his face, he hasn't given my eye contact since I asked him why he is here. It is difficult to tell if this man is being serious.

"Well, I'll be happy to give you company Murdoc."

Did I really just say that? Do I actually want his company? Am I even alright with giving him my company? I'm such an idiot.

I turn to look at Murdoc again, his grin from ear to ear made my stomach flutter. He shuffled closer to me; I didn't move at all, intact I couldn't move. I'm in shock.

"Many thanks, luv. By the way, your quite a looker aren't you?" Murdoc whispers as he places his long fingers under my jaw and catches a lock of my hair, twiddling it in his fingers.

"Murdoc... I... no..."

I can't find the words to say. I don't even know if I want him off me. He smells nice, his touch is gentle and his gaze is like being put in a trance.

"I couldn't take advantage of a lady like you, there's something about you (y/n.) What the hell could that be?" He says, looking away from me.

He stands up from the bed and walks over to the door. He turns around and gives me a genuine smile before exiting the room.

"Murdoc!"

I call out after him for no apparent reason, his company just then was so warming and comforting. I hear footsteps approaching the door and he swings himself back into my room.

"Can't get enough of me already darling? mph." He said chuckling in a crude way. He walks towards the bed and places himself back on the bed, this time he's keeping his distance.

"So what you want me here for luv?"

I stare at him, I just want to get to know him better. I think he's a good person, but I also know of how he has a bad reputation with the ladies. I guess that's what being famous gets you.

"Why are you on this island, Murdoc?"

"Long story short, I got into a pickle with some bastards a while ago and needed a place to evacuate too. Allas I found this huge floating lump of garbage, and the plastic beach was born! It's in the middle of the ocean, so no scum can track me down. Pirates tracked me down again but out of nowhere my pal Russ managed to take the bastards down! Bringing with him Noodle! Finally the whole band were back together again. Now we are just enjoying the salty breeze, the life on the sea. It's marvellous! Yet somehow a little lonely. Not enough action with the ladies if you see where I'm getting at mmhmm" Murdoc winked and cackled.
