You walked back into the castle, but the aura felt different. You felt like the moment you walked in, you'd be greeted with glaring eyes and judgemental thoughts. You walked behind Lance, you usually were the one intimidating everyone, but you'd shown everyone how weak and vulnerable you were capable of getting. You were slightly nervous of how they would react seeing a monster, like what you'd made yourself out to be, returning into their home. Lance stopped in front of the training deck door.

"You ready?" He asked.

"Why are you asking?" You replied.

"Probably because you've been behind me this entire time, that usually isn't something confident people do," he shrugged.

"Maybe that's just because I don't know my way around the castle yet, doofus," you scoffed. You were always that way, being sarcastic, pushy, and a little rude, even if the person you were talking to was the kindest person in the world, you still couldn't help but sound disgusted whenever you spoke.

"Woah, woah, woah, okay Keith," he laughed. "Let's just go inside before you start making fun of my lisp too."

"I noticed that, but I just decided not to say anything," you smirked.

"Nope, I refuse, let's go," he grasped the door handles.

"Wait, no!" You reached out towards the door, but you were too late. He pushed the door open, leaving you looking like an idiot. You looked like you'd just interrupted whatever they were doing because they all just stood, staring at you. No one seemed to move, until Pidge started to jump.

"Lance, you found her!" She trilled. She started running towards you before leaping in for a hug.

"Wait, you guys are, excited?" You asked as you continued to hug the short-haired woman back.

"Of course we are, we thought you'd fled the castle, so we had Lance go try and find you," Allura explained. "And clearly he did just that."

"Why did you want me back?" You queried.

"Why wouldn't we?" Coran questioned.

"I don't know, maybe because I almost killed one of the five Paladins of Voltron?" You stated in the most sarcastic tone you could have.

"That's because you were showing that you can kick Lance's butt any day of the week," Keith glared at the Cuban man.

"Are you all bi-polar or something?" You grunted.

"I mean, we were mad for like ten minutes, but then we decided not to be mad, but proud instead," Hunk grinned as he and Pidge began squeezing you with their hugs.

"Okay, that was the most mom-like answer you could have given me, but I'll take it," you chuckled.

"Okay, well, since all of this is settled, then let's-" Coran continued, but began stumbling.

"Coran, you good?" Shiro asked as he helped him gain his balance.

"I'm fine, it just felt like the castle tilted," he ushered as he held his head.

"I don't think it did?" Pidge shifted her head, making herself look like a confused puppy.

"Maybe I'm just becoming a confused old man," he gave a nervous chuckle.

"I'm sure you're-" you spoke before flying to the ground, along with the other members of the group.

"What was that?" Allura asked as she stumbled up.

"C'mon, let's check the front of the castle, it feels like someone's shooting," Keith panted. You all raced towards the front of the castle to see a large swarm of galra cruisers surrounding the castle like a picket fence around a house.

"What do we do?" Hunk whisper-shouted towards you.

"Paladins, get to the lions," Allura urged.

"There will be no need for that," one of the cruisers spoke. "We are only here for one thing."

"If you're here for the lions, then you can suck my-" Pidge had to practically slap Keith to keep him from finishing the sentence.

"No, we don't want the lions at this time," they spoke.

"Then what do you want?" Coran asked, confused.

"It's simple," the man in the cruiser laughed, "We want the girl."
