So I was rereading this and somehow this chapter got deleted so I'll have to rewrite it from memory as best as I can. Sorry loves

When I wake up, Luke isn't cuddling me anymore, but I can hear his sobs somewhere in the apartment.

"Lukey?" I call, walking into the kitchen where it sounds like the cries are coming from. I sigh as I see him curled in a ball in the corner, sobbing into his knees.

"Little one, are you still so upset?" I ask as I bend down and lay a hand on his shoulder.

"Don- don't touch!" He sobs. I pull my hand back and sigh.

"Please tell me what's wrong, Luke? Did something happen at the park, baby?"

He nods but doesn't say anything. "Tell Lili what happened, please, Luke?"

"Mea-mean guy!"

"There was a mean guy? What'd he do, boo?"

"Push, call- call name! Mean..." he sobs. "Say I baby! And path-pathetic... say I freak.."

"Aww, babyboy, you're not a freak or pathetic, okay? And you are a baby, but that's perfectly fine, because that's exactly what your supposed to be, little prince. Don't let anybody tell you anything else." I pull the boy onto my lap and run my hands through his hair as he sobs and cries, but slowly calms down.

"Okay." He mutters.

"Do you have to be home by a certain time, baby?"

"Nu. Dad don't care."

"You sure?"

"Promise."

"Alright, little one. How about some food?"

"Yes please." He hums, cuddling into me.

"Hmm, such good manners." I praises. "Such a good boy."

He giggles softly and I stand, carrying him and putting him on the couch to watch cartoons as I make him lunch.

He eats quietly with me as we watch the fox and the hound.

I give him some icecream when he's done and we cuddle, him in my lap, as he eats it happily.

"You feeling better, little prince?"

"Yes mo-ma'am." He smiles. I nod and we continue to watch Disney movies until about 8, eating a small dinner at 6:30.

"Alright little one. I think it's time I take you home."

"What? No, I'm having fun." I pout.

"I know baby, but we'll have more fun tomorrow. For now, you need to go home and get some sleep."

"Noo!" He whines, getting off my lap and sitting cross armed on the ground as I raise an eyebrow.

"Lukey..." I sat in a warning voice.

"I stay."

"No, Luke. I promise you can come over tomorrow morning, but now it's time to go home. Aren't you sleepy?"

"Sleep here." He glares.

"You can sleep here some other time. You don't have any clothes today and-"

"I wear clothes I wore today!" He protests, tears coming to his eyes.

"Oh Luke. You were being such a nice, good boy earlier, what happened?"

"You wan me go home! No wanna go!"

"Luke you need to. I wouldnt want your dad worrying about you, and you need sleep."

"Dad no worry! Stay here! Sleep here!" He says as he starts crying. I sigh and stand, gathering his stuff.

"No! Delilah noooo!" He shrieks, trying to stop me from putting his clothes in his backpack.

"Lucas!" I scold, halting his movements. "First of all, indoor voices! And you need to be a good boy! I told you you can come back tomorrow, but you are going home now."

"NO!" He shrieks, sobbing. "No no no! Please, please Lili!"

I sigh as pick him up despite his efforts to fight me.

"Cmon, Lukey, stop crying." I sigh as I rub his back and he sobs into my shoulder.

"NOOO! PLEASE I DONT WANNA GO HOME!"

"Lower your voice this instant little boy! I will not deal with this attitude, you are being a brat and I'm not putting up with it anymore. I understand that you don't want to go home but you're going to have to whether you throw a fit or not. So be a good boy and I promise I will see you in the morning." I say in a harsh tone. "Do you understand?"

He nods as he sobs into my hair.

"Hmm?"

"Fine..." he huffs. I sigh and grab his packed bag and carry him to the car, putting him in as he pouts and grumbles.

I drive him home, ignoring his whining as I drive.

"Bye, Lukey, I'll come pick you up tomorrow morning?"

"Yeah..." he mutters, getting out and going into the house.

I sigh as I drive home. Why was he so against going home?
