Elle
Trail day. Today was the big day to find out if Grayson went to prison or not. I was super stressed. The only thing I knew was that if we did get the chance to bail him out it would cost tons of money, which we didn't have.
I run my hand through my messy hair and walk out of my cell once the officer unlocked it, along with Grayson's. I smile at him and he looks down at the floor, he was nervous. So was I. I sneak my hand into his and we follow the officer towards the front of the building.

Grayson
We arrive at court and my breath is shaky as I walk in along with Elle and the officer. Elle sits down and I stand in my spot. I turn to look at all the people and I notice Vanessa sitting in the very back.
I glare at her and she smiles and wiggles her fingers at me. I flip her off and turn back around.
---
Elle was giving them the evidence. She had to. I wasn't mad, I was proud that she was being honest. I could go to prison for a long time but I know Elle will wait for me.
I look down at my cuffs, they made me wear these stupid things here because you could never trust a murderer with something like this. I zone out until I hear Elle whisper my name. I look up at her and she nods her head towards the judge.
"I'm going to talk to you for a little bit, how old are you?" The judge asks and I look at the wall behind him, "18." "And what's your full name?" He asks again. "Grayson Bailey Dolan." I say motionless.
"How far did you go to school?" He asks and I look him dead in the eyes, "I'm still in school, sir." He nods and asks what the last job I had was. "Nothing." I rub my lips together and look over at Elle, who is playing with her hair.
"You do know that a murder sentence is a minimal of 30 years in prison up to life?" "Yes, sir." I nod. "I would like to ask you, do you wish to plead guilty or not guilty?" I quickly answer, "Guilty."

After talking to them for a while he finally sentenced me to 30 years in prison, unless of course, someone could bail me out. But I had no idea where Elle, Ethan, Alissa, or Maddie would get that kind of money from.
Then I remembered something I had forgot about. My eyes grew wide and my head shot over to look at Vanessa and she had her arms crossed over her chest and she was chewing gum. She winked at me and I knew what she was going to do.
I just had to accept it. It was going to ruin me and Elle but if I could get her to listen to me, she would forgive me. This was the only way out of 30 years in prison. I gulped and nodded at her, she smirked and got up and walked out of the doors of the courthouse.
I look back over at Elle, admiring her one last time. She was going to hate me once she found out about me and Vanessa's deal, but I love her. I didn't mean for any of this to happen, but my feelings got in the way of everything.
Elle
After Grayson got taken away to go to the prison, I had to leave. Ethan and Alissa had to drag me away from Grayson. I couldn't live without him, especially 30 years. What was I going to do now?
What am I supposed to do now? I have no idea. They drive me over to Alissa's house and Ethan leaves, planting a kiss on my forehead and one on Alissa's lips. I smirk and look over at Alissa who was blushing.
We walk inside and I nudge her, "So you and Ethan?" She nods and I get happy for her. But then it reminds me of Grayson and I look down at the floor. I could wait 30 years. I loved him, I would wait for him.
Even if that means 30 years without seeing other people, it would be worth it in the end. Or so I thought.

The next day at school Vanessa came up to me in the morning. "I'm sorry about Grayson." I scoffed, "Stop pretending to care, Vanessa." I adjust my backpack that was hanging on one shoulder and walk away.
As I walk into art I couldn't stop looking over at Grayson's desk. He wouldn't get to graduate. He wouldn't get to go to prom. He wouldn't get to go to collage. He wouldn't get to get tmaried until he was around 50.
He wouldn't get to experience Ethan getting married. He wouldn't get to experience when Ethan finds out he would be a dad. He would miss out on it all, he would hear about it of course, but he wouldn't be able to be there in person.
---
When I get home, I throw my backpack on the floor and pull out a tub of ice cream. I am about to wrap myself in a blanket and watch Netflix until I hear the doorbell go off. I groan and get up and open the door slowly.
I see a suitcase and a note taped to it and I look around for any sign of anyone and pick it up, locking the door behind me. I go to the kitchen and open the note, it reads,
Elle,
I know you must be wondering who this is. Its someone who you don't like very much, but I would like to help ;) In this suitcase is something that is going to help Grayson out of prison. You can believe me if you want, or you won't believe me, but open it.I put the note down and open the suitcase, revealing a bunch of money. It was loaded with stacks of dollar bills and I find another note and carefully open that one and read it.
Now, what I need you to do is take this to them and bail Grayson out. Trust me, its enough. Now, I don't need you to pay me back because this is all Grayson's money I found under his bed earlier before he got sentenced 30 years in prison. Your welcome.
~Vanessa ;)
I look back down at all the cash and sigh. I needed to bail Grayson out now. But little did I know, by doing this, not only was I going to end a relationship, I was also going to end a life.
{A/N: HEY GUYSSS!!! Its 1 in the morning and I can't sleep so I decided to update. Yay. Comment what you thought😄 I love y'all, STAY SMEXY😘}
