Elle

"That. Was. So. Fun." I say out of breath and Jacob giggles as he patches up my scrap. I busted up my knee cause I was going too fast down the street and stopped too fast.

"Next time, make sure you stop a little slower, and while you're at it, don't go that fast." Jacob taps my knee and gets up from kneeling. I thank him and get up and grab the skateboard.

Before I can get on it, Jacob takes it out of my hands and laughs, "We don't need you getting hurt again. We'll walk." I didn't want to walk cause we would have to walk past Grayson's house and I just rather quickly ride past it.

I whine and Jacob shushes me as we walk down the sidewalk back to my house. Jacob turned on some music and we were now walking past Grayson's house. I try not to look over at the house but I fail.

I keep walking but try to see if I can see figures moving around and I caught one. Or two. Or three. I furrow my eyebrows and squint, trying to see better. I feel a pair of arms grab me and yank me to the side.

I look up at Jacob startled and he points at a streetlamp. "Don't need you getting hurt again. Pay attention." He says through gritted teeth and I get confused form his sudden mood change.

I look back at Grayson's house and look over at Grayson's window and see the blinds hurry and shut. Jacob calls my name and I shake my head and hurry to catch up to him.

Its been a few weeks later and Grayson is finally going back to school. Its hard because we have every single class together. Ethan never talks to me anymore and I cut Maddie out of my life. Alissa is with Ethan a lot and Ethan is with Grayson a lot.

Occasionally Alissa will come and sit with me at lunch or hangout with me after school, but other than that, I have Jacob. It was lunch and I push through the people in the halls and sit down at me and Jacob's spot outside by the front doors, where I took him after he and Grayson fought on his first day.

I hear Jacob calling my name and I turn my head to look over at him and he has something in his hand. "What are you doing?" I look up at him as he comes closer. "Grayson is pissed." Is all he says for me to get up and follow him to the cafeteria.

"Grayson." I yell as we get closer and I see him beating up some kid. As I get closer I see that he is beating up Lukas, from our Gym. I pull Grayson off him and his nose is flared, but he calms down when he sees me.

"What are you doing here?" He spits and I am token back. "What do you mean? If you forgot I go to this school too." I comment and he clenches his jaw, "No shit. I mean what are you doing talking to me?"

My mouth drops a little and I roll my eyes, "I was trying to stop you from getting in trouble, but looks like you don't care anymore, so go ahead, continue beating him up." I say and let go of him.

He stares at me for a little and I shake my head at him in disappointment and quickly walk out of the cafeteria.

Alissa

I watch as Elle leaves the cafeteria and I look over at Grayson and he is looking down at the floor, he was hurt. He misses her but me and Ethan decided it would be best if he stayed away from her.

We told him things she did while he was in the hospital to make him think that she was with Jacob. I felt bad, but they are toxic for each other. They always get in trouble when they are together.

I know he wanted her to stay, but he is keeping up a bad boy act, but I know he wants her again. He truly does love Elle.

Grayson

Its been a week after I argued with Elle after I got out of the hospital. I felt bad but she deserved it, she didn't love me, if she loved me she wouldn't have gone back with Jacob right after.

I was at the beach, at the same spot me and Elle had our first date. The same rock. (The rock that their stuff was on) The sun was going down and no one was at the beach right now.

I sit down on the rock and place my head in my hands and sob, I lost the one thing in the world that meant the most to me, and she already moved on.

Elle

I was sitting down at the beach and it was dark, it was quiet and I was enjoying the sound of the waves hitting the beach. It was calming. I hear laughing and I look out towards the water and I make out two figures.

I hear Grayson running behind me and I jump into the water and Grayson follows close behind. I laugh and turn around and Grayson is no where to be seen.

I look around for someone or movement under the water but there is nothing. I'm in about stomach deep in the water and I feel something brush up against my leg.

I scream and begin swimming back to shore until I feel something grab my ankle and pull me underwater. I force my eyes open and see Grayson swimming towards me.

We both surface and I hit Grayson hard in the chest. "Not fucking funny. Sharks are in this water, Grayson." He laughs and I continue hitting him.

He grabs my arms and pulls them so my arms are wrapped around his neck. I connect my hands behind his neck and his hands snake around my waist.

We lock eyes and Grayson leans in slowly. His eyes move from my eyes down to my lips in hunger. My heart starts picking up speed and butterflies appear in my stomach.

I blink and they disappear. I look over towards where me and Grayson had our first date and see something on the rock. I try to make out what it was but couldn't. I ignore it until I hear my name being called.

I look back over at the rock and see the figure moving and heading towards the water. I hear it calling my name and I furrow my eyebrows and get up, heading towards the person.
