Elle
After winter break me and Grayson decided to let the school know we were boyfriend and girlfriend now.
I don't think Vanessa will like the thought very much, but when have I ever gave a damn about what she thinks?
Grayson came to pick me up and we would drive to school together. Like a couple.
I dust off my pants and shirt removing any makeup specks from my makeup and go look at my outfit.
It was okay, I didn't want to go all out. Especially with something so simple as just walking into school together.
I grab my backpack and head outside to wait for Grayson. Who pulled up a short while after.
I open the car door and the nice warm air inside felt good, since it was winter and snow was covering the ground.
But me being me, I didn't wear a coat or boots. There was no point if I was going to be inside school all day, considering I didn't have any classes outside.
Grayson gives me a quick peck on the lips before he pulls out of my driveway. He rests his hand on my thigh and moves his thumb in circular motions against it.
He focuses on the road and I smile at him, even though he couldn't see it. I was so lucky to have him. Even if he was a criminal, you can't help who you fall in love with.
We pull up and Grayson parks next to Alissa's black Mazda. I get out and Grayson walks up to the front of the school without me.
I sigh and slam the door shut and quickly run over to him and he smiles at me, dorkily. "Its cold." I laugh as I grab his hand.
"Why didn't you bring a coat?" He asks as we rock our hands back and forth lightly. "Because I didn't want to, don't question me, Bailey."
He just shakes his head, giggling. I smile at him, he was so cute when he was embarrassed. "Bailey." I repeat and his cheeks grow a faint pink color.
I knew the affect that name had on him. "Can we go inside now? I'm freezing my titties off." I laugh and Grayson nods, pushing the doors open to the school I dreaded.
I immediately spotted Vanessa with her little group of friends. I looked over at Grayson in nervousness and he smiles at me in reassurance.
As we walk towards my locker I hear whispering and look to see Vanessa talking to her friends then pointing over at me and Grayson.
I smirk and let go of Grayson's hand and strut over to them. "Hey, is there something you wanted to say?" I place my hands on my hips.
Vanessa scoffs and looks me up and down. I raise my eyebrow and she rolls her eyes. "Pathetic." She says under her breath.
I glare at her and she brings her hand up next to her face, gaining a sudden interest in her fake nails.
"I'm pathetic?" I fake laugh and she looks up from her nails and crosses her skimpy arms across her chest.
"Look at yourself, sweetheart. You're not any better than the rest of us." She bites the inside of her cheek and her friends all gasp.
She steps up to me. "Just the thing a basic New York city bitch would say. Stop trying to act like you're all that, Elle, cause you're on my turf now. This isn't New York anymore."
I curl my fists into a ball and lick my lips, "You don't run this school. The only reason you have boys is because they want you in bed." I continue on.
"I wonder how many you've slept with and how many have left you after. I wonder how many friends you've had that only used you to get popularity."
I snap and look at all her friends who are now looking down in guilt. I point at all of them, my eyes not leaving Vanessa's.
"See? The way they are looking down, that's guilt. Everyone here is using you." Vanessa's face softens and her eyes become glossy.
"Now go crawl back to your daddy and make him buy you something to make yourself feel better. And then rub it in all of ours faces that you're filthy rice."
Vanessa breaks down and runs out of the school while all her friends just stay staring at the ground.
Grayson was standing behind me and I turned around and started walking to my locker. "Lets go." I say through gritted teeth.
I hear him laughing as we approach my locker. "What?" I snap, now in a bad mood. "That's my girl. You destroyed her back there."
I roll my eyes and open my locker throwing my backpack inside and grabbing my books. "She deserved it. She's way too lost in her own little world."
I slam my locker shut with my foot and hurry to art. I sit down in my seat and Grayson does the same.
The bell rings shortly after and the teacher walks in. She has a paper in her hand and she places it down on her desk before turning around to face the class.
"Finish up from the art we were working on before break. I expect it to be done by the end of class and turned in." She demands and goes behind her desk and begins to type away on her computer.
I pull out my drawing utensils and begin finishing my sketch from before break and finish up right before the bell rings.
Grayson waits for my by the door and I hurry and turn it into the first period basket. I walk quickly to Grayson and we connect hands and walk to second period.

During lunch, me and Grayson sat down at our table and waited for Alissa to get her food. I wasn't very hungry and apparently neither was Grayson.
I rested my head on Grayson's shoulder and he started playing with my fingers. Something which he started getting into the habit of doing.
I smiled at the feeling. Alissa comes to sit down next to us with a couple of other friends that I had only met a couple of times.
Alissa starts a conversation with her friends, obviously ignoring the fact that me and Grayson were there.
She must've seen or heard about me and Vanessa. A lot of people were talking about it. But I didn't give a damn.
