Time my Love (Doctor Who fan fic)

Chapter three- The dramtic events of the ride to my new home

I stood on top of the platform with my head held high as I watched the buyers talking amongst themselves.

“Right then, shall we start the bidding at £15? £20, £25, £30, £35, £40,£45, £50. Do I have £55? No… sold to the man at the back.” I looked the man with interest; he wore a black scarf so he could hid his face while a large hat covered the top half of his face. He wore a big coat that reached is knees.

He handed over the £50 before beckoning me to him. He pointed to the free cage that you get with buying your slave so you can shut them in there if they misbehave. I walked into the cage and he locked the door behind me.

He got onto the little seat and gave the reins a tug.  As we got through the city, I clung onto the bars of the cage as if hoping that if I cling onto them long enough, they would just break.

“Anya!” I heard one of the greatest voices I have ever heard. I looked up. There was Jeremy. My beautiful Jeremy.  He ran alongside the cage.

“Anya, what's happening!! Why are you still in a cage?”

“Jeremy… I've been sold. I'm going off to serve someone. I'm worth £50.” I said the last bit almost hysterically.

"Your worth more then £50!!" Said Jeremy.

"I know!!" I replied in mock outrage," Look, talk to the driver, hand over whatever money we have if he let's me go."

Before Jeremy could do anything, the driver banged on the cage with his fist as if to silence me. I whimpered before backing away from the bars and sat down in the middle of the cage. Waiting for a miracle to happen.

Suddenly, I was shooting forwards as the cart came to a stop. I looked up and saw Jeremy talking with the driver. I sat in hope for a moment but when the guy shoved Jeremy away and rode on, I lost what little hope I had left.

I crawled over to the bars and whispered to Jeremy.

"Find the Doctor, get him to take you home and take this with you." I handed him the ring he gave me for our celebration on our 2nd year of dating.

"I was going to give this to you for your birthday but looks like you should take it now." And then Jeremy handed me one of the most beautiful necklaces I had ever seen.

"I got it when you was in that place where that guy kept on talking to you. It's said that this protects you from anything." I smiled and I reached out of the bars and touched his face before taking the necklace and slipping it on.

The purple star on the necklace began to glow different colours and then it began to swirl all the colours together before settling down by glowing a light purple. I gazed at it in atonishment.

"Go. Find the Doctor. Just promise me one thing."

"What?"

"Have the best life you can ever have. Live your life to the full." And with that, I dropped his hand and watched him stare after me with so much sorrow in his eyes that I had to look away.

I saw him run over to three people that was, The Doctor, Amy and Rory. I saw him explaining everything to them and I watched the four of them dissapper from view. I took a deep breath before looking down at the necklace. The star had stopped glowing now and it looked like it had when I first had it.

When I looked up from the necklace, I saw the cart going through a large gate that led to a castle. It looked like it was newly built, the gardens were beautiful to look at and if I craned my head slightly, I could see the edges of a large maze.

The Horse came to a halt. The man jumped down from where he was and slowly came round to unlock the cage door.

"Get out." He growled but his voice was soft and light, not hard and murderous. I walked out of the door and flinched when I walked past him. Light voice or not, he still scared me.

He led me inside the castle and the insides took my breath away. I gasped. There was a glittering chanderler that hung above me, the tiles glittered like diamonds. And a large staircase went up in the middle of the room.

"Wait here. Your new owner will be here soon." And with that, the man scurried away up the flight of stairs and out of sight.

I sighed, I will miss Jeremy so much. I wouldn't miss anyone else as much as I missed him.

I heard footsteps behind me and I turned around. There stood one of the most gorgeous men I had ever seen. His hair was sleek and blond, his clothes were baggy but his eyes intrigued me the most. They were a light red and they seemed to burn into my soul.

"What is your name slave?" He said to me, looking me up and down with a look of happiness on his face.

"Anya." He came over and slapped me round the face, it didn't hurt me but I fell over anyway.

"You should call me Sir."

"Yes sir." I stuttered, wishing that the ground would swallow me whole.

"Now then, what should I do with you... have you posioned and then have you stuffed so I can make you into a dol for my niece? Or should I set you too work in the kitchens... I'm not sure yet so come with me Anya." I followed after him as we went up one flight of stairs, then another before we finally came outside a door that looked like it hadn't been opened in years.

"This is where your going to sleep. Now here are the rules.

Rule number 1: No running around, it creates a really loud noise and if I'm having a hangover then it really hurts.

Rule number 2: No shouting unless your me.

And rule number 3: You can only have the maximum if 4 hours sleep as there is always so much work to be done. Got it?" I nodded. He smiled at me before walking off and leaving me on my own.

Taking a deep breath, I entered my room. It was amazing, the walls were painted a bright yellow, a large window was covered by two large drapes of red and the bed cover was made of silk. I loved it but what am I going to do about escaping?

'Jeremy' I thought 'Come and find me soon, come and find me." And with that, I fell asleep.
