The tom raced behind Ashstar.

"You won't get away!" The black tom yowled.

The creamy tom appeared at Ashstar's side.

"What are we looking for?" He asked.

"My son!"

"To kill him?"

"No!"

"I thought that's what you said!" The cream tom meowed.

"No! I meant my other son!" Ashstar growled. He raced ahead, crashing through the undergrowth. He burst through the bushes, his claws outstretched.

His claws sank into the pelt of a cat.  ShadowClan scent bathed around him. He lashed out at the ShadowClan cat, blood leaping into the air.

The cream colored tom leaped from the undergrowth and landed neatly on his paws, watching Ashstar and the ShadowClan cat fight.

The black ShadowClan cat they saw earlier burst out behind the rogue.

Ashstar slashed the ShadowClan cat's eyes and turned to the black one. He slashed his cheek and kicked him into a patch of nettles. Ashstar turned to the cream tom. "Come on!" He growled, running.

The dull tom followed, his yellow eyes reflecting the trees.

Ashstar raced along a path edged by ferns and tall grass. He ran faster and crashed through the ThunderClan camp.

Cats turned and looked at him, bristling and hissing.

Ashstar saw Crow. The sleek, black rogue leader walked from his den, his green gaze resting on Ashstar.

The creamy tom appeared behind him. When he looked at Crow, he bristled and glared at him.

"I know why you're here, Ashstar, but why are you here?" Crow glared at the creamy tom.

The creamy tom bristled even more. "Why are you ruling this Clan?" He asked. "You should've drowned in the sewers, the way you treated me," He growled.

"Oh, I remember giving you those scars across you eyes," Crow laughed. "Those scars make your dirty face even worse!"

The creamy tom unsheathed his claws. "You'll pay!" He growled. He leaped on Crow, digging his claws into Crow's eyes.

The black rogue cried in pain, hissing and trying to throw him off.

Ashstar raced forward to help him.

"No you don't!"  A rogue growled. He leaped towards Ashstar.

Ashstar dodged him and leaped on his back, digging his claws into his shoulders.

"Help, Ashstar!" A voice cried.

Ashstar looked up. That sounded like Bunnypaw!

Claws slashed Ashstar's cheek.

Ashstar lashed at the tom's ears. The tom backed up, fur missing from his shoulders and his ears shredded.

Ashstar leaped on him and sank his teeth into the tom's ear, tearing it off.

The tom yowled and raced from the camp.

Ashstar raced after him, but teeth sank into his tail and pulled him back. Pain flared in his belly, making him collapse on the ground.

Crow was on top of him, his claws sinking into Ashstar's chest fur.

"You were pretty stupid to come here," Crow growled. His eyes were closed and had scratches across them. Blood dripped on Ashstar. "Now I can kill you."

Ashstar struggled in his grip.

Crow's jaws clamped around his neck.

"Hey!" A voice shouted.

A gray tabby leaped from the bushes. It was Jaywing!

Jaywing leaped forward and bashed into Crow, leaving Ashstar free of his grip.

Ashstar got to his paws.

"Ashstar, help!"

Ashstar turned, his heart stopping.

Bunnypaw screeched; he was covered in scratches and a cat was pinning him down.

Ashstar ran towards his son.

A pair of claws flashed through the air. Dark ginger-red fur flashed in his face.

Ashstar stopped in his tracks, staring.

"Did you really think it'd be this easy?" Russetstar laughed. In an instant, she slashed her claws at Ashstar's face.

Ashstar swung back just in time. He lashed out at her eyes, but Russetstar lifted up her face quickly and clamped her jaws on his paw.

Ashstar screeched.

Russetstar bit harder on his paw.

Ashstar swung his other paw in the air.

Russetstar lashed out, but Ashstar was quicker. He slashed her paw.

Russetstar then let go of his paw to screech in pain.

Ashstar lashed out and slashed Russetstar's face. He moved to the side to dodge her lashes and sunk his claws in her side, pushing her over and exposing her belly.

Alarm flashed in Russetstar's eyes. She then put her paws in the air, claws unsheathed.

Ashstar's paws hit her claws.

He growled in frustration.

Russetstar sprang from the ground and landed on Ashstar, sinking her claws into his shoulders, pinning him.

"Time to end it!" Russetstar growled.

Hey sorry this was short! I wasn't able to work on this during Christmas or the days after it! Plus, just before Christmas, my cat's kittens went missing, and we have not found them! :( My best guess is that they drowned in the sewers. My other cats, Cookie and Oreo, go to the sewers. But anyways, I hope you wait for the next chapter!
