A man in his middle twenties is sitting inside a black room with all the cameras pointing at his direction.
"Rolling in 3...2...1!" The producer yelled and all the red lights from the camera was turned on.
"Annyeonghaseyo! Oraenmaniyeyo. It's nice to meet you again after how many years. I'm still as handsome as before." He laughed shyly as if he had never done this before when the truth is he'd done it a lot of times.
Laughter erupted with his not-so-joke joke. The PD started to question him.
"Yook Sungjae-ssi, why did you agree to appear in this show again?"
"Hmm...I just feel like there are things I wanted to do for my then virtual wife which I haven't been able to do. As everyone knows, our story was cut-off when I was about to be romantic."
He chuckled the pain he felt upon remembering the last time he was here for an interview.
"I've always enjoyed my time when we were together filming for the show. It was like a healing time for me."
It's true, he had always been thankful because he got to know her and he enjoyed every single time they were together. He had a really hard time moving on when the show ended.
He remained a prankster like he's always been, but his members always told him that something was different since the show concluded. It was like a part of his bright aura was taken away.
They remained friends even after the show, but they haven't been in touch since God knows when. Both their companies are strict, especially hers.
A smile from here and there will just be their actual interactions every time their schedules overlap, and a single video of her for him when he became a guest of a talk show.
He was so happy upon watching the video that he replayed it like a hundred times. It was not much, but for him it was everything. His hopes of still being close to her after all this time grew.
So when their manager informed him that the show was being modified and wanted to cast all the unmarried and not in a relationship ex couples, he almost choked his favorite hyung Changsub because of happiness.
"Have you and Joy-ssi ever contacted each other after the show?"
He shuddered at the mention of her name. A name he can't naturally say because of the people who's always watching his every move.
"We have talked a few times months after the show ended."
"How do you think will both of you react when you see each other again?"
He paused for a moment because of the expected question that he still don't know how to answer.
"I can't say for sure how, I just hope she's as excited as I am." He got nervous all of a sudden because of the thought that she might feel indifferent upon seeing him again. He wondered if she will be the same Joy who used to brighten up his day.

She was pacing back and forth alone in her dressing room. In a few minutes she will be back in that black room she thought she'd never see again.
"Why did I agree to be on this show again?"
She mumbled to herself as if she doesn't already know the answer to her question.
She blanked out when their manager told her that the show is asking for them to cast in the modified version. She and her members except for their maknae, had the same decision which is to not accept the offer.
