The day was still young, but two people were already so busy working in their kitchen.
"You've really gotten better in cooking, oppa. It's amusing." Joy who was cutting vegetables glanced at Sungjae. He was in charge of cooking and she was the assistant.
Their roles were reversed, it's nothing new to them though. They've always been like that since before.
"Of course. I prepared myself so you won't have to do everything in our house." He said, not looking at her.
He was expecting a high pitch voice to argue with him but there was nothing. He knew why when he saw in the corner of his eyes, two beautiful doe shaped orbs were intently staring at him.
He smiled before clearing his throat. "Ehem.. Someone's enjoying the view a little bit too much."
Breaking out of her reverie, Joy immediately looked away and continued her work like nothing happened.
She suddenly felt something heavy on her shoulder and her heart almost stopped when she saw Sungjae's face so close to hers. He was resting his chin on her shoulder and his hands on the counter in front of her.
The happenings in their waiting room a week ago came rushing to her mind. They haven't talked about it yet. Her members pestered her to tell them the truth that day and she played innocent until now.
They didn't really believe what he said about her head hurting. They argued that both Sungjae's lips and hers, gave them away.
According to them, it was so red like her face and his ears. And the shrieking never stops every time they remind her of that.
"Are you gonna continue this charade of denying even when you're already caught in the act?"
Joy was still as a stone but her heart was doing jumping jacks inside her chest. His breath on her cheek wasn't helping with the situation.
Sungjae chuckled at the motionless Joy trapped in his arms. His ears started going red with what he did.
Sometimes he's also surprised at himself at how daring he can be. He never knew he had those kind of guts. It seems true that love really brings out the best in a person.
"Oppa..the food might burn. Go back to work." Joy trailed off, doing her best not to move her head towards his face or they might be in the front page of every news outlet once this episode airs.
Thankfully, the prankster listened to her words and went back to cooking. But not before stirring her with what he said as he whispered in her ear.
"I'm already plotting my revenge, and I plan to do it today."
With his mischievous grin and wink before turning away, she felt her heartbeat rise and her face getting more blush than her stylist originally applied.
They finished cooking and proceeded to clean the living room. Sungjae was dusting the furnitures and Joy was vacuuming the floor. His playful side suddenly kicked in. Without her noticing, he slowly moved near her and started dusting, making the floor she already vacuumed dirty again.
An oblivious Joy didn't notice what he's been doing as he repeated it a few times while laughing silently. She kept on wondering why it doesn't get clean even after vacuuming, when she saw him almost choking because of holding in his laughter.
"Yah!" She yelled angrily. "Ah jinjja! That's why I never finish cleaning this part!"
"Sooyoung-ah..." A snickering Sungjae was now rolling on the floor. "You're still oblivio- ah!"
