An hour passed, but Sungjae was still perfectly awake. He was currently taking in vitamins for his eyes as he gazed at the sleeping beauty in his arms.
'If this is a dream, I beg the heavens to never wake me up.'
He silently prayed, tucking a loose strand of her hair behind her ears. A smile was painted on his plump lips when he felt her hands move from his chest to his waist, making her move closer to him.
"You really are, driving me crazy, Park Sooyoung." He chuckled, feeling the comfort of being home for the first time in years.
He held her waist tighter, smelling her hair, and he can't help but think that everything might be just a dream. He was hoping and wishing for this before, but he didn't imagine it will really come true. He never thought a day like this would ever come in his life, at least not in this lifetime.
He was lost in his thoughts until he slowly drifted to sleep, his whole life in his arms.

Joy felt the morning sun shine on her face, she scrunched up her eyes as she she stirred.
She slowly looked at the human bear sleeping loudly beside her and she just smiled.
This was only one of the things she imagined, every time her mind decided to wander about their what ifs. Now, it was happening right in front of her very own two sleepy eyes.
She was busy looking at him when she heard him speak with eyes still closed.
"You're staring."
Maybe their group name Red Velvet was really appropriate for her as the first word can easily be used to describe her face every time he's around, for example, now.
"I'm gazing." She managed to respond amidst the ongoing chaos in her heart.
"It's creepy." He playfully replied, hugging her close. For the first time she was thankful that he was taller, that way only she can hear his racing heartbeat and not vice versa.
"It's romantic." She giggled, and he did the same.
It was perfect.
It turns out the word perfect is really not that hard to achieve. Just being in each other arms in going to sleep and waking up, for them it was enough to be described as perfect.
This was the kind of morning they both wished for during all those years of not being together. And now they're finally having it.
Yes, it was for a tv show, but the show was just an excuse for them to meet without hiding. And at the same time, slowly letting the world know that what they all thought was a facade years ago, has always been and will always be, real.
Sungjae was silently adoring her morning features when she noticed. "Mwonde?"
She saw his forehead wrinkled when he answered. "You should not be allowed to still be this beautiful even when you just woke up."
She rolled her eyes in an instant, cringing at his words while slapping his stomach lightly. "Very smooth, oppa."
Joy suddenly crawled out of bed and reached out her hand to him. "Get up. We have to wash up and eat." But instead of getting out of bed, he hid under the blanket and mumbled. "It's still 7AM, Joyiah. I want to sleep more."
'I didn't get enough sleep because I was too busy staring at you.' His ears were burning when he thought about his eyes' adventure on her face last night.
She groaned, he was being a baby again, but even if she found it cute, they don't have much time as they'll be heading to the practice room today after their filming. Plus, she was getting hungry.
