It scared me. I quickly pulled away and turned back to face Erika. "What about Truth? Let me hear Truth."

If she was disappointed by my unwillingness to do the dare she didn't let it show.

"Truth? Hmm..." She thought about it. "Remember if you lie God will strike you dead." She said it with such seriousness I almost laughed.

After a few seconds of contemplation Erika had thought of her question. "Jenny, is it true that you secretly like Gavin? That's why you still haven't changed rooms yet?"

Huh?

"How does that even work? Are you guys like sex buddies or something?" Keisha muttered but not really.

I felt my face flush. All eyes were on me expectantly. There was one pair I could feel especially.

"I..I.." I shut my eyes, "I don't like Gavin. At least not like that." The words started tumbling out. I opened my eyes and immediately locked eyes with Strauss. "He's like my..my... brother. I could never..." My voice trailed off.

But I think they got it.

I know he got it.

"Aw, what a let down. Next!" The room was in an uproar at my lack luster response so they quickly moved the game right along. Ryan's friend reached out and spun the bottle this time. It landed on Patrick. Amanda messily dared him to make out with her friend Taylor. Taylor pretended to resist at first but they were going at it before you knew it.

Haley turned a bright shade of pink as they kissed beside her. She quickly got up and stormed out of the apartment, phone in hand. I could barely make out the name on the screen.

Travis. Her boyfriend.

Now that the attention was off of me I tried to stealthily make my exit. Kendra was by my side before I could take a step and Erika followed close behind. Gavin was still standing in the same spot he'd been in, which was directly in front of the bedroom I wanted to hide inside.

"Excuse me..."

He stepped to the side without a word, avoiding my stare. Luckily a wild Keisha appeared and he didn't have to pretend not to see me anymore. He had Keisha and her huge boobs to distract him now.

I went into the bathroom and took a seat on the edge of the tub burying my face in my hands.

"You okay, girl?" Kendra's small voice questioned, rubbing me gently on the shoulder.

"Mmhmm..." Was my muffled response.

"You know it was just a game, right? I didn't mean anything by it." Erika's voice stated.

I looked up at her in disbelief but her face was void of any insincerity. She looked like she was telling the truth. I let out a sigh. Maybe I was reading too far into everything.

"I really thought you had a thing for Gavin. We all did, actually."

Is that right...

"But, seriously, if you don't like Gavin then who do you like?" Erika asked, her genuine interest very evident.

"Yeah, you can tell us. We won't tell anybody." Kendra prodded. She playfully poked my arm.

I don't like anybody I wanted to say. I wasn't ready or interested in going down that road with anyone. But if I said that I knew they wouldn't believe me and then I would never hear the end of it.

So I lied.

"Ryan."

"Ryan?" Kendra scoffed.

"What about Ryan? Is that who you like?"
