Walk Away.

JOSH'S P.O.V

Last night at the cinema was amazing. Today is the day when I tell Annie the truth. I have been dreading this day for about a week now. What will she think? What will she say?

My phone vubrates suddently.

Annie: I will b in Starbucks later, r u working?

What am I meant to say to that?

Josh: Yea I am! :)

Annie: well ill c u there!! x

Yea, she will see me there but not for the reason she thinks!

When I get to work it is packed! I am serving like crazy and the time goes so fast, I even forget to take my break.

I notice her walk in, damn she is hot! Just looking at her makes me want to take her in the back and fuck her. It cant be half 3 already, can it?

She looks up from her phone and gives me a smile, I smile back.

I try to take as long as possible to finish and she keeps looking to her watch... I decide to walk over to her.

"Hey," I say quietly.

"Hi!" she says as I sit down. "I am sorry but you can't sit here."

"What do you mean?" I know rightly what she means.

She laughs, "Its not that I dont want you to, but I am meeting a Biology tutor here!" I know. I just have to tell her.

"I know..." that sounds stalkerish as soon as I say it.

"ok, now what do you mean?" she giggles not knowing what I am about to say.

"I know that you are meeting someone here because... I am that someone..." it feels good to get it off my chest but the look on her face makes me think differently.

ANNIE'S P.O.V

Say what... No, he has got to be joking right?

"I'm sorry," he whispers just loud enough for me to hear. He's not joking.

"Are you fucking kidding me?"

"I wish I was! I have been dreading this for a week because I know that if I am your teacher we cant be together..." he trails the end of the sentence.

"Oh, so you just decided to not tell me and string me along in something I thought could be good and now I find out that there cant even be anything!" I am so angry right now! I get up and make my way out of the door. He grabs my arm "Dont touch me!"

"Look, its not like I did it on purpose! You have know idea how I felt when I found out you were in my class!"

"Oh I am so sorry, I never even thought about how you must feel," I say in a sarcastic tone. "That sounds like someone else I know!" He just stands and looks at me. "I cant believe that I actually thought that I was falling in lo..." I stop myself.

He takes my face in his hands and looks into my eyes "Say it," he whispers.

I pull away "in love with you...yes...ok I thought that I was falling for you but it just shows how stupid I am! You were just stringing me along to get the only thing that men want nowadays." tears fill my eyes. I thought he understood how i felt about that, I trusted him enough that I actually wanted to have sex with him.

"Thats not what I was doing! I'm nothing like Jaymi," he was angry now. I could see the viens in his neck bulge.

"What are you going to do now that you are angry with me? Take me back to your place and make me give you want you want? hmm? well?" I cant believe I just said that.

"You can walk away right now and never look back, and I will never speak to you again, but dont walk away thinking of me like that! You know thats not what I was doing and I cant believe you could actually think thats the only thing I wanted..." he let go of me and turns around. He stops mid way. "Just to let you know... I felt the same way about you." He walks away. No! I cant let him make me think that this is all my fault!

I walk into my bedroom and Aoibhin and Jade are with Alon and JJ. I cant be around them and be the awkward 5th wheel that people only pretend to like for one reason. I walk straight back out.

"Hey babez come back!" Jade shouts after me.
