Day 17: spending time with family/friends

~~~~~~~~~~~
God, we hadn't had everyone over all at once since the beginning of college. Of course, I was very, very glad that we were all seeing each other as a group like we had before, but things were also going to be hectic.
"Mike!" I said when Mike finally picked up his phone. "People are going to start showing up in the next twenty minutes where the hell are you?"
"I'm picking up some things. Chill, bro it's gonna be fine."
Picking up some things? What the hell did we still need. "What do we possibly need?"
"We were out of toilet paper and forgot to buy anything to drink. Relax Vic. It's going to be fine, stop stressing. These guys are our best friends! They're practically family! They aren't going to judge you of flip out if I'm five minutes late trying to make sure we had everything."
I sighed. "I know. It's just a lot has changed, you know? People are married. Gerard and Frank have a daughter! I'm just, I don't know. I want it to be fun and good and like old times."
"I understand. And trust me, these guys? We've known some of them since we were in elementary and middle school. It'll be fine."
"I guess your right. Bye." I hung up the phone, setting it down on the counter next to me. I felt s pair of arms snake their way around my waste. Kellin kisses my neck softly.
"Hey Vic, calm down. It'll be fine," he assured me. I nodded.
"Thanks Kells. I love you so much, you know that?"
"Yah. I love you more, though." He giggled.
"Will you ever not be a teenager girl?" I asked teasingly, turning around to face him.
"I take it back. I don't love you, meany." Kellin pouted playfully.
Vic shook his head. "How are you so damn cute?"
"I just am. I'm fabulous, I know." I shook my head, full of love as I looked at the boy standing in front of me. I loved that motherfucker more than anything.
Kellin gave me a quick peck on the cheek before heading upstairs to get out of his pajama. Why he waited until we only had 15 minutes I wasn't sure. He came down about ten minutes later in a pair of black leggings and an oversized red sweater. I smiled at him.
"You're pretty," I said.
"I'm a manly man, and being called pretty is damaging my fragile masculinity!" Kellin said in the deepest voice he could manage. I shook my head laughing.
The doorbell rang and a screaming Kellin ran to the door. He swung open the door to see Jack and Alex in the doorway, smiling and holding gift. Kellin screeched obnoxiously, pulling the two inside the door.
"Hi!" Vic said once they had been pulled in the house.
They waved, smiling. They were defiantly all glad to be hanging out again.
"Hi Vic," Alex said. "We've missed you guys. So is everyone coming?"
I nodded. "Yup. Except Frank and Gerard might be a half and hour or so late."
The door bell rang again, signaling that more people had arrived at the door. Suddenly, Brendon barged inside. "This better be the right house or things are about to get awkard."
Kellin laughed. "Nope."
Pete and Patrick had arrived in unison with Brendon and Ryan. We all greeted eachother, Kellin insisting upon a group hug before we all migrated to the living room. "I'm making hot cocoa. You should watch a movie or something until Frank and Gerard get here," Kellin said. He pulled his sweater sleeves over his hands before walking into the kitchen.
The ended up putting on Home Alone after much insisting from Jack, and after decided they should after all the years it had happened like this. Jack whispered into my ear, startling me. "Are you planning on proposing to Kellin anytime soon because we're all waiting."
I blushed scarlet. In truth, I had thought about it. In fact, it was a though that was on my mind quite often. I really wanted to do it, I just didn't know how, and was afraid of rejection. Though why I would be, I didn't know. We'd been dating for ever, and we lived together.
"I'm just scared okay?" I said, turning back to the movie. Jack nodded.
"I understand. Just I think you should do it soon. You've been dating for so long." I nodded slightly in agreement, deep in thought.
Gerard and Frank arrived. We all greeted them, and they took a seat together on the recliner.
Kellin came out with cups of hot chocolate, passing them out to everybody. Once he was done, he smiled schooching Jack over so he could curl up into my side. I smiled, running my hand through his hair. I loved this boy so much, and I didn't ever want to let him go.
I looked around the room. Alex was sat on Jack's lap, kissing him passionately. I chuckled. They still acted like high schoolers most of the time. Gerard was idly playing with Franks fingers while the watched the movie, curled up on the couch together. Ryan had fell asleep with his head on Brendon's shoulder, and I watched admiring the amount of love in Brendon's eyes as he looked at the boy using his shoulder as a pillow. Patrick and Pete were holding hands and watching the movie. And I looked at Kellin. And I decided I was going to ask this boy to marry me by the end of the month.
